This is a cnventinal system and has limitatins. Clients f MPI are using such tubular reactrs fr prcessing nn-aggressive, rdinary industrial liquids directly (inside f the tube). In case/s f ultrasnic prcessing f aggressive liquids, and/r bilgically r pharmaceutically sensitive liquids, the best is t create caxial tubular reactr-system fr indirect ultrasnic treatment, as fr example: t fill water in the 3-Clamp-On tube, and pass anther glass r plastic tube inside, caxially. Water wuld serve as an acustic cupling medium fr passing ultrasnic vibratins t the internal tube with sensitive, aggressive r bilgical material. External water shell culd be cnnected t a thermregulating system in rder t keep cnstant perating temperature during snicatin. Usually, the client wuld need t slve design details regarding watertight fixatin arund bth stainless-tube ends in rder t keep water inside f the tube and t have easy passage f internal tube which will be snicated. The liquid which shuld be ultrasnically treated (internal plastic tube cntent) can have certain flw rate in rder t prcess large quantities, r static in case f prcessing labratry samples. Water cupling layer culd have cntent f certain sterilizing chemistry in rder t maintain the perfectly clean and safe envirnment. Internal tube shuld be made f sme acustically transparent material (t pass maximum f ultrasnic energy t the internal liquid cntent). The best materials regarding acustic transparency are different plastic fils (high density PVC, PVDF, PTFE...). MPI clients are als using Pyrex glass tubes (but glass is nt as acusticallytransparent as sme plastic fils). Clamp-On reactr can be delivered with end flanges r in any ther similar cnfiguratin (as yu can see n the MPI web sites). During 10 minutes r shrter it wuld be pssible t snicate easily much mre than 20 liters (just by making a clsed liquid flw). 5
