VOLTMAX s cmpact design is great fr small spaces and requires minimal clearance arund the unit. 4 5. ELECTRIC CIRCUIT Revisin 0 May 2017 SINGLE PHASE, 60HZ The electrical cnnectin must be 2-wire cable with a grund. The heating elements will be square flange immersin type. They will be lw-density equipped with hightemperature nickel-irn-chrme incly ally. The biler will be equipped with tw limit cntrls, the first will be adjustable with an autmatic reset and the secnd will be at a fixed temperature with a manual reset. Cntrl circuit ON/OFF switch Electrical cntrl circuits will be equipped with circuit breakers t prtect lw-vltage circuits. Electrical pwer circuits will be prtected by circuit breakers. THREE-PHASE, 60HZ The electrical cnnectin must be 3-wire cable with grund. The heating elements will be square flange immersin type. The tank will have a maximum perating pressure f 30 psi (207 kpa) and will hld 11 US gallns (42 litres) f water. It will underg an ASME-cmpliant 60 psi (414 kpa) hydrstatic. See the Optins sectin fr a maximum perating pressure f 70 psi (483 kpa) r 125psi (862 kpa). The biler will be installed directly n the grund and equipped with fur (4) 1 ½ NPT M cnnectins lcated n the sides f the tank t enable a multi-psitin installatin and facilitate cnnectin. There are 5 penings t install the square flange elements. The tank will be equipped with a ¾ ball drain valve and will be shipped frm the factry equipped with an ASME cmpliant safety valve with a 30psi (207 kpa) trigger pint. B-POWER GREATER THAN 90 KW The tank will be made f steel accrding t CSA B standards and will bear a Canadian Registratin Number (CRN) as well as an H seal certifying that the tank s cnstructin cnfrms t the standards f Sectin IV f the ASME Biler and Pressure Vessel cde. The tank will have a maximum perating pressure f 60 psi (414k Pa) and will hld 30 US gallns (114 litres) f water. It will underg an ASME-cmpliant 90 psi (621 kpa) hydrstatic test. See the Optins sectin fr a maximum perating pressure f 125 psi (862 kpa). The biler will be installed directly n the grund and equipped with fur (4) 2 ½ NPT M cnnectins, lcated n the sides f the tank t enable a multi-psitin installatin and facilitate cnnectin. There are 10 penings t install the square flange elements. The tank will be equipped with a ¾ ball drain valve and will be shipped frm the plant equipped with an ASME cmpliant safety valve with a 60psi (207 kpa) trigger pint. The tank will have a maximum perating pressure f 125 psi (862 kpa) and will hld 30 US gallns (114 litres) f water. It will underg a 163 psi (1124 kpa) ASME-cmpliant hydrstatic test. The biler will be installed directly n the grund and will be equipped with fur (4) 2 ½ NPT M cnnectins lcated n the sides f the tank t enable a multi-psitin installatin and facilitate cnnectin. There are 10 penings t install the square flange elements. The tank will be equipped with a ¾ ball drain valve and will be shipped frm the factry als equipped with an ASME-cmpliant safety valve with a 125 psi (862 kpa) trigger pint. 7 VII - WARRANTY Revisin 0 May 2017 The biler s heating element is cvered by a 10-year limited warranty fr clsed-circuit heating applicatins. Parts and accessries have a 2-year warranty. The biler must be tested, certified and bear the CSA Canada and US lgs accrding t CSA C22.2 N and UL834 standards. VIII START UP T facilitate start-up, a pre-adjustment frm is available in the event yu wuld like t change the VOLTMAX unit s default perating settings t values that crrespnd t yur prject s needs. Just indicate the values yu need fr yur applicatin and Therm 2000 will prgram the cntrller in the factry.
