Richmnd Campus nrth f the EKU By-Pass is lcated in Zne 2E and Richmnd Campus suth f the EKU By-Pass is lcated in Zne 2D. Other EKU facilities in Madisn Cunty include Meadwbrk Farms lcated in Zne 1C and Madisn Airprt lcated in Zne 3D. In the event f a chemical release, mdeling sftware is used t determine the path f the release. Any znes that are affected in the mdel are recmmended t shelter-in-place until the chemical agents have dissipated. The affected areas are then relcated (evacuated) accrding t set prtcls by Madisn Cunty EMA/CSEPP. The CSEPP prgram has mdified certain campus buildings t be used as Enhanced Shelter-in- Place (ESIP) buildings. These buildings have had sensrs placed n the drs as well as an autmated system that shuts dwn the HVAC system and clses all the dampers in the building. After being ntified that the hazard has cleared, stp the ESIP/CPS system by pushing the red start buttn again. Any individual may deactivate the system when the all clear rder is given.
