1 Page 1 Welcome to our Newsletter!! 2018 Inside this issue: Message from our President 1 MOCC Member Spotlight 2 Meeting Minutes 3 Happy Valentine s Day and Presidents Day! Kathy Mast and Kathi Dembowski reserved a private dining room for us last Saturday evening, 10th, at Medina s Brown Derby restaurant. We met new members and mingled with members from other Clubs who ventured out in the cold to join us! Great turnout and delicious Valentine chocolates! Thank you! Hopefully if you are interested in Track X II in October you have reserved a spot for your Corvette on the track. I know we passed the minimum of 50 cars registered by 1st! Rally North America has also put together a Kentucky/Ohio drive May 13-16, including track time at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and an overnight in Mt Vernon. Check out details at Blue Bars included a full-page article on the Veterans Memorial Dedication last year. Check it out! Our Region did a great job! The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery is a beautiful, impressive, somber place. The Monument and Memorial pathway honoring America s veterans features 139 memorials donated by various organizations to commemorate troops and events. Our Club received a Thank You note from a relative of the child who received our club s donated gifts (thank you Regi Muich!) for Christmas at the Christian Children s Home of Ohio. The original artwork for this card was created by a 14-year-old girl from the Home so I wanted to share it with you. Warms my heart! (See Page 21). We also received a Thank You from the Toys for Tots Foundation for our donation to them during Christmas. Save the wave!
