BACK-TO-BACK WINS: Yesterday s starting pitcher Julio Teheran earned his fifth win of the season (25 starts, 3.01 ERA) and his second consecutive victory, marking the first time he has won in consecutive starts since winning three straight, September 24, 2014 to April 11, ANOTHER DEBUT: On Saturday night at Philadelphia, LHP Jed Bradley made his Major League debut and earned the win when he pitched a perfect ninth inning before the Braves scored two runs in the 10th. Bradley became Atlanta s 12th player to make his MLB debut this season, which is the most of any team in the majors...cincinnati, Houston and Oakland have had 11 players make their debut. OFFENSE CLICKING: Since snapping a seven-game losing streak on August 21, the Braves have gone 10-4 and have averaged 5.8 runs per game...last night s 2-0 victory marked their season-high matching sixth straight win, five of which have seen Atlanta s offense plate sixor-more runs. Tossed a perfect ninth inning of a 4-4 tie game and went on to earn his first career victory after the Braves offense plated two runs in the 10th frame.
