The Rockies took two of three in Atlanta last season, their first series win at Turner Field since they also won two of three, September 26-28, ROSTER MOVE: The Braves selected the contract of catcher Anthony Recker from Triple-A Gwinnett today and placed catcher Tyler Flowers on the 15-day disabled list with a left hand fracture, retroactive to July 10...Recker will wear No. 20. DOMINANT: RHP Mike Foltynewicz fanned 10 in a 2-0 win at Chicago (AL) in the Braves last game before the All-Star break, the right-hander s first career doubledigit strikeout game...foltynewicz did not issue a baseon-balls and became just the 10th pitcher this season to strike out at least 10 with no walks in a scoreless outing. The last Braves pitcher to acomplishe the feat was LHP Alex Wood on August 31, PETERSON PRODUCES: Since being recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on June 10, INF Jace Peterson has hit.320 (33-for-103) with a.388 on-base percentage, four home runs and 15 runs scored in 27 games...his.320 average over this span ranks 14th best in the National League...Peterson has raised his season average from.182 to.279. Peterson has hit leadoff his last 17 starts, batting.310 over this stretch.
