4 Location Description ANDERSONVILLE Andersonville is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the city, with a thriving nightlife district along Clark Street, parks for families with children, and easy access to the lakefront and city beaches. Communities everywhere now look to emulate Andersonville as a model of a thriving urban neighborhood. The neighborhood is a hit with young working adults that recognize the benefits of the neighborhood, which is a quick 20-minute 'El' ride to the Loop for those working downtown. Andersonville was named one of the hottest neighborhoods in the US by Redfin. It also enjoys nationwide acclaim for its unique commercial district, comprising a great blend of locally owned, independent businesses, regional and national retailers and restaurants. In addition, Chicago Concierge awarded Andersonville one of the top 5 shopping destinations.
