City Event Description Equipment by Patrol Equipment Willow 1) Snow Melt - Fire The object of this event is to build a fire and boil at least 8 A small pot to hold at least 8 oz. of water. Each scout in a stands with one foot on each board and holds onto a rope on each board. As a team, the Patrol walks by lifting a foot and pulling that rope up at the same time. The Patrol must cover the course distance as a unit. If one or more scouts steps off the snowshoe, the Patrol must return the last obstacle and start from that position. THIS IS A TIMED EVENT. The starts when the first Patrol member places their foot on the snowshoe and ends when they return to end of the snowshoe crosses the start/finish line. Patrols are responsible for bringing the needed supplies. Using simple materials such as a tarp, rope, and spars, Scouts must build a shelter large enough for the.
