1 Men s Basketball Uniform Design Proposal Kyle Yarbrough & Carly Avery 2012

2 proposed Using SEATTLEU s rich heritage, modern campus, and location in one of America s premier cities to create a clean, fresh and lasting image that will represent SEATTLEU basketball for generations to come.

3 SU Color Palette These are the four primary colors that are used for Seattle University Athletics. The colors include SU Red, SU Black, white, and a 50% grey. hex: BA0C2F Primary Logo hex: hex: FFFFFF hex: This is the primary logo for Seattle University Athletics. We have included the SEATTLEU wordmark on two different designs, 1) with the SEATTLE in SU Red and the U in and 2) with SEATTLE in white and U in surrounded by SU Red. The Interlock This is the interlock logo for Seattle University Athletics. We have included it in two different designs, 1) including color with a surrounding stroke and 2) in and white with a background. Throwback Logo This is the previous verstion of the logo used for Seattle University Athletics. We have brought it back to include in our throwback jersey. Primary Typeface ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ The primary typeface of Seattle University Athletics is Big Noodle Titling. We have used this typeface on all the NOBs on each jersey.

4 proposed numeral designs The first set of proposed numbers has a new, ultramodern look and represents the unmatched character of SEATTLEU. It is unlike any other numeral set that exists today and will give SEATTLEU a unique style to set them apart. The second set of proposed numbers provides a more rounded option for a more contemporary look. The numerals are big and bold to represent the big and bold character of SEATTLEU. The third set of proposed numbers is a modern adaptation of the standard block numerals that are used on several athletic uniforms. This new set has more severe features to represent the strength and intimidation of SEATTLEU.

5 Proposed HOME JERSEY OPTION 1 NOB Home Jersey Option 1 feature a white top over a white bottom. Prominently displayed in vertical text is the university and city it represents. The uniform features the SEATTLEU interlock and a continuous stripe forming a single loop on the top and bottom.

6 Proposed HOME JERSEY OPTION 2 NOB Home Jersey Option 2 uses the same overall theme and appearance as Jersey Option 1. However the continuous stripe appears as two individual stripes on the wearer s right side; representing city and university.

7 proposed HOME JERSEY OPTION 3 NOB Home Jersey Option 3 features a white top over a white bottom. The top features the familiar SEATTLEU word mark, and a gray/red stripe that transitions from the chest to the right flank. The look is crisp, simple and modern.

8 proposed road JERSEY NOB Jersey Option 1 features SEATTLEU s signature red color on both the top and shorts. The uniform is similar in design to Home Jersey Option 3 in look and feel.

9 proposed JERSEY The Black Jersey Option offers a simple, yet stunning and white jersey option for special events, and monumental moments in SEATTLEU Basketball, and increasing the intimidation factor. Few things are as clear cut as and white, but this jersey with a top and corresponding shorts are.

10 proposed jersey The proposed throwback option reaches back to the early days of basketball at SEATTLEU when the school mascot was still known as the Chieftans. A simple red and white scheme on the jersey represents a simpler time in uniform design in a more simple era all together.
