1 Introduction The Year 5 and 6 teams will have their final match of the season on Saturday and following this we look forward to our celebration of the Junior School netball season on Sunday 30 August in the Perth College pavilion. Further information can be found below. We wish the teams all the best for their final match for 2015! After this week s match Year 7 12 teams will know if they have reached the finals which will be played in the subsequent three weeks. Good luck to all the teams in preparation for the finals. All Year 7-12 teams are more than welcome to arrange their own team pasta night or get together. For teams heading into finals it is a good chance to catch up, do some team bonding, and set goals and strategies for upcoming finals. For teams not going into finals it s a great chance for a team get together prior to the end of the season In this issue 27 August 2015 Reminder: Please register for The PCNA End of Season Presentation Night and Dinner Dance for Years 7-12 is on Sunday 20 September 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm. 2 Fill-in Players We would like to thank the following players for supporting PCNA and kindly being on standby and for filling in for matches last Saturday; Madison Bedell, Phoenix Gerrans, Yasmin Porteus, Hannah Mannion, Mikayla Buchanan, Phoebe Craig, Natasha Galley, Emily Bairstow, Amy Bairstow, Ellen Lewis, Grace Wyeth, Taylor Adair and Phoebe Atsaros Preparation for FINALS Playing in Finals Player rotation We wish all players the very best for the upcoming finals. The finals matches can be quite different to season matches as both teams are very competitive and determined to win the match. It is important for players and parents to be aware that although coaches will endeavour to give equal court time to players during the finals, this does not always occur. The coach will make the best decision for the team on the day and it may be that players do not have equal court time in finals matches. Arrival time Players, please arrive at your court 30 minutes before your finals match commences. If you are running late or caught in traffic send a message to your coach to prewarn them. Spectators for Finals bring your FAMILY and FRIENDS along! Being at finals is very exciting! Please encourage as many of your friends and family as possible to come to Matthews on Saturday to support your team. We would like to create a great Perth College atmosphere at the courts and cheer your team to victory. Parents please support PCNA by providing only positive support from the sidelines. Uniform for Finals Important for all players. Please ensure that only the blue shorts are worn under the PCNA dress (no black shorts).if you wear a T-shirt over your dress, please wear the PC navy sports top. However if you need something warmer, wear the PC blue and white track suit top or the white PC windcheater. Keep to Perth College colours! Team Colour Ribbons - In past years many PCNA teams have worn their team colour ribbons in their hair for the finals, we encourage teams to continue with this tradition. Socks for Finals The PCNA socks look fabulous with the PCNA dress! If you have PCNA socks can you please wear them for the finals matches. If you would still like to buy socks you can go to to place your order before finals.
