If you re not saving this playbill as a keepsake, please place it in the Recycle Playbills bin at the front door after the performance. Thank You If you d like to go paperless The FOA wants to help! 8 Stage Notes Dear Anaca, How exciting to see you in your role as Lucy! We re always praying that you will use any talents you have to glorify Jesus! We love you! Mom, Dad, Breckin, Cadence, & Daxton Dear Lewis Girls, While drama comes naturally in a house with three sisters, it still takes a lot of hard work. We re excited to see y all perform together in one of your favorite tales! We love you! Dad, Mom, Papaw, Jim & Granna Isbell, & Papaw Steve & Nana Lewis

9 A Note From the Director This story is about choices. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe presents us with the choice of who to follow. The choices made by the characters in this production are what tell the story. Good or evil? Love or hate? Faith or doubt? Sacrifice or power? The choices we make impact not only ourselves, but act as a ripple effect and touch everyone around us. You re going to see many souls in this production make many choices. Those choices tell their story - just as your choices tell your story. So what will your story be? I m so excited for you to see this culmination of talent. I could not be more thrilled to have gotten each and every person who has dedicated time to this production. They are the DREAM TEAM for any director! From costumes, to set, to acting, to props, to sound, to light - everyone has exceeded my expectations. Thank you for making the choice to be a part of this wonderful story!

10 A Heart for the Arts Attention all sons of Adam and daughters of Eve. Since we re here in Narnia, and Narnia happens to be here in The Forum Theater this weekend, I ve noticed a few principles that the home of Aslan and the FOA have in common. Unity among all creatures is what we are striving for, regardless of how different we are. Creation is not only preferable, but necessary, to overcome destruction. Everyone deserves second and third chances. Light helps to tell the truth of the story. It illuminates and shows us what s important. It makes things clear. Walk toward it to be able to reveal your truth. Aslan is light and truth. Father Christmas is as real as the spirit of generosity and joy. True power is reserved for the selfless it s better to volunteer to be in the army rather than to sit on the throne. Your part of the story is as important as any. And, Laughter is a great sign of joy, as long as it s not demeaning the weaker. So laugh as often as possible. And on that note, the Mel Brooks play, The Producers, is coming to the FOA in June. It is farce and a hilarious commentary on theatre producers and the business of Broadway. The Producers is a slight departure from the tone and style of most of what we create at The Foundation of Arts because it is adult comedy. Mel Brooks has a genius way of poking fun at all of us who can get offended at things, but there is a time for everything, and sometimes, it s just time for us to laugh: at ourselves, at what we find offensive, and, frankly, at whatever we can. I hope you can enjoy our version of The Producers in June. But I know you will enjoy this beautiful story of Love and Redemption. Welcome to Narnia. With a Heart for the Arts, Kristi

13 Upcoming FOA Events Summer Class Registration The weather is getting warmer and that means it is almost time for Summer classes at the FOA!!! The FOA offers classes, camps, and intensives for theatre, art, and dance. Whether you are staying in shape for next season s Ballets, auditioning for Young Artists Theatre, or just doing some yoga, be sure to pick up a brochure today for more information! Register NOW!!! The Producers Auditions Failing producer Max Bialystock and his accountant, Leo Bloom, scam a group of elderly women out of their nest eggs by convincing them to invest in a ridiculous musical secretly intended to bomb the moment it opens. But when high-brow Broadway audiences mistakenly assume "Springtime for Hitler" is a satire, Bialystock finds himself with the critical acclaim that has long eluded him -- and the biggest hit of his career. Over the top silly, from start to finish, this show will have you rolling in the aisles! Audition dates are: April 28 at 10am And April 29 at 2pm Fall Class Registration Just because summer hasn t started yet, doesn t mean you can t prepare for the fall! Check out our Fall Class Brochure available at foajonesboro.org. Fall Class Registration begins May 12 during the Spring Showcase! To purchase tickets for any performance, visit or call the Box Office during normal business hours or purchase tickets online at foajonesboro.org!
