2 Page 2 April 2016 Greetings from your Chamber Chair - Dawn Schulberg - Premiere Dance Academy I hope everyone is enjoying the early spring that we are having. Summer fun is just around the corner! Last month we were honored to have our Superintendent, Dr. Teri Staloch join us at the Wild s Golf Club for lunch. She presented us with a great deal of information on the upcoming referendum. It was a very informative power point presentation, and I think we all left with a greater amount of knowledge that will help us make good decisions for our community. Thank you Dr. Staloch for taking the time to educate us. Our chamber provides many events and programs that offer great opportunities to get to know people and expand their connections within the community. We offer innovative and fun ways to help members meet potential customers, clients and vendors and generate new business leads. There are quite a few upcoming events that I urge all of you to become a part of. Whether it is volunteering or donating to a good cause, it is a huge benefit not only to our community but to your business. Keeping your business name and what you offer is always in the forefront of the Chambers mind. Here are two good choices!! Ladies Night Out at Sailer s Greenhouse on April 7 th, and the very popular Senior Luncheon at the VFW on May 2 nd. As always, if you have any questions or ideas for us, please feel free to contact any one of the chamber board members. We are here to help and promote you and your business! Dawn Schulberg, Chair Premiere Dance Academy New Member Orientation - March These events give you a chance to network over lunch and meet other new members, board members and ambassadors. We have a presentation with introductions, and learn how the Chamber can help your business grow in and around Prior Lake. If you would like to join us for the next one, please contact us and we will give you details. Here are some photos of the New Member Orientation that was held on March 30 at Prior Lake City Hall.
