Please see the attached form for more information. Oak Hills Spirit Shop The Spirit Shop will be hosting their last Open House on May 5th from 9am to 3 pm. Most everything will be discounted 20%! Come get graduation gifts or items for next year! We also have the coveted Graduation Signs if you have a senior this year. Thank you to everyone who has purchased items from the Spirit Shop in the past. Your support means so much to the students in Oak Hills. Students who participate in the Take Home Program will leave their chromebooks and chargers at school on the following dates to charge and be ready for the AIR test the next day: 6 th 4/16, 4/17, 5/2, and 5/7 8 th 4/20, 4/23, 4/26, 4/30, 5/1 7 th 4/18, 4/19, 4/24, and 4/25 BMS parents we appreciate you and all of your help as we tested this week! We will continue testing next week. Thanks in advance for having your students well rested, well fed, on time, and ready to do well on AIR tests! Class of 2022 (current 8 th grade) will have the opportunity to get to know Oak Hills High School on July 17. Please see the attached form for more information. Please consider attending! It is free to watch the band and orchestra performance at Loveland High School. Performances begin at 5:15. Saturday April 28 MIP Competition for Choir and KI Trip for Choir, Band, and Orchestra Meet at 7:00am in the BMS Multi Band and Orchestra - wear trip t-shirt and school appropriate bottoms and shoes. Choir - wear performance attire and bring trip t- shirt and school appropriate bottoms and shoes. Please consider attending! It is free to watch the choir performance at Loveland High School. Performances begin at 9:20. Remember passes (if they have one), sunscreen if needed, and money for food at KI (food costs more at the park). Tickets will be distributed by chaperones once in Kings Island if ordered. This program replaces what was formally known as the Oak Hills Community Education Swim Lessons. Summer Session - Registration will open March 1 and closes May 20. Lessons start the week of June 4 and run 6 consecutive weeks Ages 3 11 Parent & Child classes also available (ages 6 months 4 years) Days and Times are posted on the OHYA Swimming webpage. Student Council This year, Student Council will be holding a yearlong fundraiser. We will be collecting box tops from many brands used in our homes every day. Bridgetown Middle School will get a minimum of 10 cents for each box top collected. That amount can add up quickly! IT S EASY!! Just cut out the box top label and give it to your child s advisory teacher. Emergency Medical Authorization Forms (EMA) Emergency Medical Forms (EMA) Please complete your student s online EMA form as soon as possible. They must be done every year in addition to the paper form and they are not linked to Final Forms. Students cannot attend field trips if EMA is not complete. Parents may access the form by going to: ohlsd.us.ema or by going to ohlsd.org and clicking on Parents (top left of screen), then click EMA form. 5 Online Health! Is your 7th or 8th grader interested in taking Online Health this summer? Online Health is a required course for graduation from Oak Hills High School & Middle schoolers have the opportunity to complete this requirement! Please join us for an informational meeting! Monday, April 30, 2:20-3:20 Bridgetown Middle School s Media Center If your student wants to take the class this summer, they are required to attend the meeting. Parents are welcome to attend, but not required. If you are interested in learning more, please plan to attend. Attendance is NOT a commitment to taking the course. Course Description: This course will help students develop knowledge & skills to make healthy decisions to be active, safe & informed. The lessons & activities will introduce students to important aspects of health: emotional & mental, social & consumer, and physical. Students will learn the components of a healthy lifestyle & ways to make healthy choices & decisions.
