3 Coloring Contest Guidelines September 16, 2017 For Little Sweethearts (Ages 4-5) Coloring Sheet Contest is for Little Sweethearts only. I have enclosed one copy of the 2017 coloring sheet. You may make as many copies as you need. Have a contest within your club or group. Let every child enter who would like. Choose one coloring sheet winner from your club/group to be entered for competition at the Girls Day Out. Contest Guidelines The child must be present at Girls Day Out to be the winner. Only one (1) entry per club/group may be entered. Crayons, colored pencils, or markers may be used. Coloring must be performed only by the student competing. Print Child s Name, Age, and Church on the back of the coloring sheet. Turn the coloring sheet in at the registration table. Sheets will be displayed at the Girls Day Out and will be judged that morning. JUDGES WILL SCORE ON THE FOLLOWING SCALE: 1=Fair 2=Good 3=Very Good 4=Excellent 5=Superior The judges will evaluate neatness, color coordination, and creativity. Prizes will be awarded!

It is to be a group competition, not an individual competition. Only one (1) entry per club/group. Bluebelle groups will only compete against Bluebelles. Same with Joy Belles. You do not have to be an organized club to participate in the competition. Girls will perform a community service. Photograph the girls working. Make a collage out of the photos. Girls Committee will judge service and photo display. Examples of community service projects: serving in Boys and Girls Club, activities in a nursing home, helping with church community spring festival/back to school fair, planting flowers for an elderly church member, etc. Limited counselor assistance is permitted in creating the collage. Girls are to do the majority of the designing/ organization of the collage. Entry will be judged on Creativity, Craftsmanship (detail, neatness), Art Work (variation of materials/media and technique), Overall Design and Appeal, and usefulness/impact of the service for the community. Entries are to be checked in during registration time. On an index card taped to the back of the collage, put mentor s name, church, brief description of service project, and group. All collages will be displayed. You may count this as a service project for next year on your monthly report!
