Our students have written beautiful sympathy cards that were sent to Officer Guindon's grieving family, as well as get well cards for her fellow officers, Officer Jesse Hempen and Officer David McKeown who are expected to survive from their injuries. Donations will also be made to the Leesburg Explorers Post. This Junior Police Camp provides law enforcement education for youth in Loudoun County. Instructors at the camp include Simpson's Officer Bennett and other school resource officers. The camp each summer focuses on team building, leadership, conflict resolution, character education and physical fitness. Juvenile law and police procedures such as finger printing, accident investigation and evidence collection are also covered.
