We all need to leave the golf course in better shape than when we found it Handicaps for Tournament Play If you are a new member and want to play in the events throughout the year, you must register for a handicap in the golf shop Cost is only $25 for the year Please stop by the golf shop today and get signed up

5 Reciprocal Reminder As we continue through the season, we wanted to again remind everyone of our existing reciprocals and how it works. If we have an event or maintenance situation where we cannot offer you the golf course that day, we have reciprocals set up at area courses. Call our golf shop and let us know you want to play. At that point we will get a round about time you would like to play and which course. We will then call for you and get the tee time. After we secure a time, we will let you know when your tee time is. Thank You. DO NOT CALL THE COURSES DIRECTLY WE MUST CALL FOR YOU!! 13 Fox Run Ladies Golf Association July Notables Match Play was finally completed this month. - Deb Coletti was the overall winner of our match play - Cindy Wilson was the consolation match winner 7/10 WSCGA Tournament at Fox Run Fox Run was well represented with 20 ladies playing in this event. 14 NEWS FROM THE HANDICAP COMMITTEE The USGA and the Fox Run Handicap Committee rely on the membership to ensure that the club abides by and enforces the rules of golf. We are asking that all players turn in your scorecard to the golf shop after play. Please make sure someone signs and attests your scorecard before turning it into the golf shop. A box for scorecards is located in the golf shop. Please make sure your score is posted accurately when you play. Peer review is an integral part of the Handicap process. If you see something, say something. Bring an issue to the attention of the Pro Shop or to whoever is running the group you belong to (552, Dempsey Group, Players, Seniors or Ladies). The Fox Run Country Club Handicap Committee wants to thank the membership for all the positive strides we've made recently and we hope everyone has a great summer. We would also like to thank David, Patsy and the Pro Shop staff, the ladies in the Grill Room and Tony and the grounds crew for all the good things going on at Fox Run. Enjoy the Summer.

It just was not meant to be for that day We have enjoyed having your children for the summer and watching them grow in their game through the clinics etc.

18 Fox Run After School Program The FRJGA Junior Golf After-School Program will involve one clinic per week from 4:30-5:30 every Wednesday during the Fall semester starting September 5 th and ending November 7th. As well we will have 3 Saturday Play Days throughout the program. Check calendar for dates of Play Days. This program is a great way for your child to keep improving their game during the school year!! $150 FOX RUN MEMBER $200 NON-MEMBER 10 Wednesday After-School Clinics After Clinic Golf Each Day Driving Range Privileges 3 Saturday Play Days September 15th, October 6th, & October 27th 2:00 start MISSION STATEMENT The program will be dedicated to teaching juniors to have fun playing the game of golf with success. The staff is committed to providing a positive and exciting experience to their game. Gaining knowledge of the rules and understanding golf course etiquette is essential. Honesty, safety, and good sportsmanship are the foundation of the traditions of the game of golf. CODE OF CONDUCT All FRJGA participants will be expected to act as a young professional at all times while using the club. This includes but is not limited to using polite language, walking on course property, abiding by the rules of golf, and practicing safety as a part of golf. The dress code is a collared shirt tucked in and no denim. We Hope your child can join us this Fall!!

20 Greetings from the Grounds Greetings from the grounds: As everyone is aware we skipped pulling cores this past aerification, due to a couple of greens not having fully healed from the first aerification. We instead decided to solid tine them and work a less aggressive way to heal the greens. I would hope to see the greens in question fully heal before winter sets in on us. The rain fall has been consistent these last days of July and early August we have received about 5 inches in last week. Thank you to all who showed up and stayed through the heavy shower of rain on volunteer work night. I can t express how much this night means to the staff here at Fox Run. I appreciate the volunteers and I am always surprised at the turn outs for this event; this is a very special membership and Club. We also had some daytime volunteers that ran blowers and Joanne Lyth and Rex Howley trimmed azaleas on the fourteenth hole. I hope everyone that participated in the Men s/member Guest had a great time and you found the course in good shape. As always we look forward to seeing you on the golf course. 21 New John Deere Sand Pro This will help keep the bunkers looking good and help to keep the bottom of the bunker from becoming packed sand. New Commercial Refrigerator This will allow more storage and better cooling for the cold products in the grill.
