6 Couples Golf Update We had a GREAT TURNOUT!! We have decided to have the Couples on Friday, September 23rd and try a little food with golf like our last event. The fee will be $30 per couple + cart including Sirloin Steak, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Green Beans, Salad, roll, dessert and a drink. We will shotgun start at 5:30 sharp to insure we all finish. Greetings from the grounds What a month August turned out to be, we were hit with a micro burst which took down a total of 8 trees along 1 and 9 also 11 and 17 saw significant damage. Most of the debris has been picked up except what still lays in the pond. Men s club championship saw the course in probably the best condition it has been in all year and I would like to extend a big thank you to all the members that came out and helped us clean and weed eat the golf course as we were behind due to staffing and tree removal prior to the tournament, THANK YOU ALL for your help. September is the a very busy month with all our pre-emergent s going down and spring dead spot applications going out. We will also be addressing all the open holes from irrigation leaks getting them leveled and sod put in the holes. We are looking forward to some cooler days and shorter nights, as we prep for winter. There is still plenty of good golf to play so hope to see you soon. Tony Bisbee Golf Course Superintendent

13 From The Fox Run C.C. Handicap Committee The Handicap Committee wanted to thank the Club Membership for their response to our efforts to improve the level of scores posted. We ve seen a marked improvement (a 20% increase) in the posted scores and we look to improve even more in the months ahead. A couple of reminders: 1. Please check in in the Pro Shop prior to your Tee Time. 2. Please post your score upon completion of your round in the clubhouse or on the GHIN app. 3. Failure to comply with the above referenced with regard to posting in the Fox Run Country Club By-Laws Golf Course Rules and Regulations Section A.17, may result in a 6 (six) stroke penalty score posted to your handicap. Additionally please note the following addendum to the previously stated: 4. Failure to post scores resulting in a Second six (6) shot Penalty Score Letter will also result in a warning that states a third Penalty Score Letter will result in a 90 day suspension from Fox Run Tournament play and the member must reapply to the Handicap Committee to be granted tournament status dependent upon compliance with the above stated club by-laws. 5. A Third Penalty Score Letter results in an additional six (6) stroke penalty score posted to your handicap and a 90 day suspension from Fox Run Tournament play and member must reapply to the Handicap Committee to be granted tournament status dependent upon compliance with the above stated club by-laws. 6. A Fourth Penalty Score Letter will result in a six (6) stroke penalty score posted to your handicap and a One (1) year suspension from Fox Run Country Club Tournament play and member must reapply to the Handicap Committee to be granted tournament status dependent upon compliance with the above stated club by-laws. Come in the shop and check if you have any unused dollars. Remember all gift certificates will be expired as of Christmas day for

15 2016. Thank you and we look forward to seeing each of you in the golf shop soon. Fill Divot Reminder Please fill any and all divots We are experiencing some trouble with divots not getting filled. Please fill yours and one more everytime you hit a shot and it will help the course get even better than it is today. Especially Par 3 tee boxes. The par 3 boxes take a pretty good beating and need divot sand to keep the surface level and playable. Thank You for your attention to this!!
