3 Membership Reminders Membership Cards Reminder Please remember to have your membership card with you and present it when using the Club amenities. Membership cards must be presented and be swiped at the point of sale in order for you to receive your Member discount; charges may not be retroactively discounted afterward. Please do not be offended when asked to present your Membership card, as we have many new employees recently hired who are not yet familiar with our Members and we also want to make sure that you receive the Member discount you deserve. We appreciate your cooperation and patience with this request as it helps protect your Membership account and ensure accurate posting of charges. As a reminder, only immediate family (the designated Member, spouse and children ages 22 and under) receives the Member discount. Extended family Members (parents, grandparents, children ages 23 and up and grandchildren) and co-owners have access to the Club amenities when they present their membership card, but do not receive discounts. All charges made by extended family or co-owners will post to the designated Member s account, unless settled at the point of sale with cash or credit card. Membership cards are not transferable and may not be used by anyone other than the person pictured on the card. The Membership team is currently in the process of auditing our Member records, and will soon be ing Members a form to complete to ensure we have the most up-to-date information in our files, including current address, phone numbers, addresses and birthdates. You will be able to complete and return the form online. We appreciate your cooperation in returning these in a timely fashion so that we can continue to communicate with you effectively and keep you informed of all upcoming events and activities at Reunion Resort & Club! 4 TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Tip of the Month S- Posture The S-Posture is created by having too much arch in the lower back and can be the result of sticking your tail bone out too far or by having a Lower Crossed Syndrome (muscle imbalances around the core area). This is a common style of set-up posture that can put excessive stress on your lower back and limit rotation in the swing. gatherings 4 The S-Posture can be fixed by learning how to get into a neutral pelvic posture and brace the core muscles to stabilize that position. Then learn how to bend from the hip sockets and rotate your torso without losing your neutral pelvic posture.

5 Golf News Mother s Day Scramble The Mother s Day Scramble featured a grueling match head to head between two groups. The team of Trudy Hobbs, Sue Greenstein and Mark Greenstein took the win with a net 62.2 on the books. A beautiful day and beautiful reason to come out and play on such a special day for all the Mothers, thanks to everyone who came out and played and wore their pink! 16 Inside THE LINES June Tennis Tip The wind for a tennis player can be a very daunting idea. It can make a good player bad or even a bad player good. The best way to look at it is that the wind is an equalizer. With the wind being somewhat of a common occurrence, depending on where you live, you really need to know how to play in it. This may sound silly, but the first thing you need to know about playing in the wind is actually which way is it blowing. The direction of the wind determines the style of player that you need to be while on that specific side. When the wind is in your face, you need to be more aggressive with your hitting, but not too much with your movement. By doing this with the wind in your face, you first allow yourself to hit the ball harder, keeping more balls in, but you can also use it to show off your touch with a drop shot. The wind will act as a wall pushing the ball down and into the ground. gatherings 16 When the wind is on your back, you need to slice more but all the while attacking with forward movement. The wind makes it tough for your opponents to pass you and almost even tougher to lob. If you start off with these basic ideas of how to play in the wind, then you won t find yourself saying that darn wind.
