The Country Club of St. Albans Board of Directors, Members, and Staff welcome you to enjoy your week at our Club and encourage you to take advantage of all that is offered. You are the future of golf and we are honored to be your host for the week. In 1991, the award-winning architectural firm of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish were selected to design and build the Lewis and Clark course at St. Albans. Renowned for its natural beauty of rolling hills, wooded terrain, valleys, lakes and natural wildlife, with a true reverence for the rich history of the area, the course and the prestigious St. Albans clubhouse opened in The St. Albans property bears many historic symbols that were meticulously preserved by the designers, from Civil War era graves that dot the property to the striking stone homes designed by Theodore Link, famed architect of St. Louis Union Station. We know the players will enjoy our Lewis and Clark golf course which has consistently been ranked in the Top 10 courses in the state of Missouri by Golf Digest. As a reminder, this is a private club and the membership and staff are not only looking forward to hosting the Championships but have been very generous as we prepare to make these the best Junior Championships of the year. The Club and practice facilities will be CLOSED to contestants, who are not themselves members of the Club, from June 1 to July 28, We ask that you respect the Club s request and its members by not calling or approaching The Country Club of St. Albans, any club employee or member about extra practice rounds or accessing the grounds prior to our official practice rounds. 17 ACCOMMODATIONS Pse Event Housing is the official hotel accommodations provider for the PGA of America. Discounted room rates have been pre-blocked at hotels closest to the venue. To secure the lowest available room rates visit the link below or call THESE HOTELS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. YOU MAY CHOOSE TO BOOK YOUR OWN ACCOMMODATIONS THAT WILL ALSO BE ELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT. PGA OF AMERICA WILL REIMBURSE YOU $50 PER NIGHT OF YOUR HOTEL STAY UP TO 5 NIGHTS. 13

18 TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT POLICIES The PGA of America wll provide a travel and lodging stipend to help cover part of your Championship expenses. The maximum travel stipened based on airfare, rental car and/ or gas receipts will be added to the hotel stipened, which is $50 per night for the number of nights stayed, up to 5 nights maximum. A player must complete at least 36 holes to be reimbursed. 20 PLAYER INFORMATION STARTING PROCEDURE PGA Officials will not call players to the starting tee. It is the player s responsibility to be in place and ready to start at his assigned tee and starting time. CADDIES/PULL CARTS The Boys Junior PGA Championship is a walking only championship. Caddies are not permitted. Contestants must carry their own clubs. However, the use of a non-motorized push cart is allowed. The Country Club of St. Alban s has push carts available for rent for $10 a day or you may bring or ship in your own for the event. Players are reminded that during championship rounds, they are not allowed to accept rides on any vehicles, unless specifically directed by a member of the PGA of America Rules Committee. There is a 2-stroke penalty for a ride on any unauthorized vehicle. There will be a contestant shuttle from 9 green to 10 tee and from 16 green to 17 tee. CADDIES FOR PRACTICE ROUNDS ONLY Caddies are allowed ONLY during practice rounds. DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES Distance measuring devices: A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (ex. gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is two (2) strokes for first offense and for subsequent offense - disqualification. 16

22 INSTRUCTORS SPECTATOR POLICIES Only one instructor is allowed on the practice putting green with each player prior to each round. All other parents/coaches/friends of the Boys Junior PGA Championship players are not allowed on the practice green. SPECTATOR CONDUCT Spectators are required to walk in the rough or on the golf car path and stay outside the ropes. Please stay off tees and greens, and stay parallel with the group you are following. Parents and spectators should converse with the players only prior to and after each round. It is okay and encouraged to help search for balls and carry rain gear/umbrellas for players. Please do not interfere or distract players by use of cameras or cell phones. Please keep your cell phone on vibrate when on property (ie. Golf Mode ). Please no calls, videos or photos within 100 yards of play. SPECTATOR GOLF CARS No spectator golf cars are allowed on the course any day of Championship week. However, spectators with special needs may bring wheelchairs (motorized or non-motorized) to the Championship. The Country Club of St. Albans does not rent wheelchairs.
