1 July 27&28, 2018 Dressage at Anderson, Ranch Gold Show of Equestrian Canada Wild Rose Show of Alberta Equestrian Federation 1

2 Tilted Tiara The dressage show organizer team of Joely Mann and Shelagh Hohm are pleased to host another series of Gold Dressage Shows. Thanks to the support of John Anderson and Caroline Jones, we are able to offer these shows at the Anderson Ranch facility which is home to Rocky Mountain Show Jumping. We are a small team that is working very hard to provide opportunities for our riders, judges and stewards to improve their skills and to compete and officiate at local, fun, intimate and affordable shows. Along with offering the ability for local judges and stewards to upgrade, this year we are also offering Wild Rose classes for those riders that do not have memberships or passports and want more affordable shows. With limited opportunities for upcoming judges and stewards to officiate at Gold Shows, we always hire at least one official that is working on their upgrading. To maintain the sport and ensure we have judges and stewards being promoted to the Senior and FEI levels, we need to support and hire our local officials. We believe that we all need to work together to support dressage in Alberta. The sport of dressage is unique within the equestrian world and the grace, beauty, precision and harmony between horse and rider is a joy to behold. Young horses, adult amateurs, juniors and international horses in training can also all benefit from these shows. With a two day format and the opportunity to get in the show ring in a world-class facility, with world-class footing, these shows are truly horse friendly. Riders can always count on showing in a relaxed and welcoming environment. What better place is there to show your horse this summer? We know that the dressage community in Alberta supports these shows by riding, spectating or sponsoring and we are grateful for that support. Without support these shows will end. We do not receive any base funding. To keep these shows going we need to build a base of sponsorship and maximize entries. We would love to hear from you if you can offer us some sponsorship. Shelagh Hohm dressagedaze@gmail.com Joely Mann halfstepsphone@gmail.com Rocky Mountain Show Jumping is pleased at this time to announce the launch of the Rocky Mountain Show Jumping (RMSJ) App. The RMSJ App is available for both IOS and Android devices and available FREE in both of the platforms App stores. The Tilted Tiara shows will be using the RMSJ App to update exhibitors with information about schedule changes, sponsors, and even warm-up times. Please install the App on your phone and we will be able to communicate instantly with you. Horse Health Requirements Tilted Tiara strives to provide an excellent showing environment. An integral part of an excellent show includes healthy horses. Exhibitors can contribute to that healthy environment by following the basic recommendations listed below. Vaccinate your horse as per recommendations of your veterinarian. Do not bring horses that have shown symptoms of Equine Influenza, Equine Herpes, strangles or any other infectious disease within the past 28 days. Strongly recommend annual EIA (Coggins) test. Check your horse s temperature for 3 days before and following an event (a horse s normal temperature at rest is between 37 and 38.5 degrees Celsius). Please do not bring horses with elevated temperatures. While on the show grounds take your horse s temperature every day. Any horse on the show grounds with a fever must be reported to the show office. Isolation stalls will be available on the show grounds if needed. Minimize commingling of horses from different stables. Sanitize your stall prior to bringing your horse in. 9
