Other classes will follow the order scheduled unless otherwise determined by the Committee, who reserve the right to alter such order. 1. The Horses will be considered and treated as being in sole charge and custody of the exhibitor during the whole period of the Show and until removed; the Committee will not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage arising from accident or other cause. 2. The Committee reserve the power to reject or remove any horse or competitor from the Competition without being liable for compensation. 3. Competitors who object to any horse to which a prize has been awarded must state their objection, in writing, delivered to the Secretary at his tent on the field within one quarter of an hour after the event to which exception is taken (no objection will afterwards be entertained and a deposit of 100 (British Showjumping Rule 198) will be required. Should the objection prove frivolous, the deposit money will be forfeited. 4. All objections will be decided by any five members of the Committee and their decision will be final. 5. Should any question arise not provided for in the foregoing conditions, the same must be referred to the Committee whose decision shall be final. 6. NO ENTRY ACCEPTED WITHOUT REMITTANCE 7. The Judges have power to withhold any prize for want of merit or competition in any Class, or divide a prize; and their decision in awarding prizes shall be final. 8. The Committee will not hold themselves responsible for any accident to any person or persons while attending the Show. 9. No galloping is allowed at any time on the Showground; cantering and trotting is only allowed in the designated warm up areas. This will be strictly enforced by stewards. Persistent offenders will be disqualified from the show. British Showjumping Rule No member shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury. The Organisers of this Show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.

4 CLASS 4 THE SOMERFORD SHOW TAKE YOUR OWN LINE Sponsored by Ashley Feeds Rule 276. Table C. Start Height 90cm. DRAWN ORDER. For registered horses to be Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. The obstacles are numbered for judging purposes only. The competitor can jump them in any order and any direction. The starting and finishing lines can be crossed in either direction. Following a disobedience at an obstacle the competitor is not required to re-attempt the same obstacle immediately unless it has been disturbed, in which case the procedure in Rule must be applied. A second or subsequent disobedience does not incur elimination, but the judge may retire a competitor if it becomes apparent that repeated disobediences have destroyed all chance of the competitor featuring in the prize list. Failure to jump all obstacles designated on the course plan or jumping any obstacle more than once incurs elimination.
