The market lies off the eastern ring road and motorists should follow signs for the HOSPITAL A&E, which will take them to Nunnery Way. METHOD OF SALE: All sheep will be sold in guineas. CONDITIONS OF SALE: The sale is held subject to the LAA and the Auctioneers General Conditions of Sale. SETTLEMENT & CLEARANCE: Settlement in full is due to the Auctioneers at the close of the sale. All sheep must be removed from the market on the day of sale. 6 WHITEHART FLOCK FOREWORD Champion Flock Gloucester & Border Counties Club The Whitehart flock are very pleased to offer a selection of sound, smart & strong yearling ewes as surplus to our flock requirements. All of which are capable of producing saleable offspring as breeding sheep for new breeders and existing ones. '' It s all about the meat '' and ''Flesh weighs and pays'' are phrases strong in our minds with our aim to produce long, well fleshed sheep with good tops, backends and a sharp outlook, maintaining as much breed characters as possible that most importantly go on and do a good job at their new homes. We have been very lucky to have sold sheep into some very noted flocks including Langside, Arkle, Scolton and Loosebeare, which have then gone on to produce the goods for them. We aim to sell approx. 140 tups annually plus a small selection of the best type of tup lambs. They are sold at NSA Builth in September, Worcester & Welshpool National Sales, Hereford Market and privately from home. I am sure the ewes on offer, offer something to both new breeders expanding flocks and to those looking for something special to flush. 3300GNS SOLD TO P TIPPETS We have jointly deided to offer the buyers of the top price ewe from Whitehart and from Loosebeare 6 straws of Loosebeare Voomer semen on each top price ewe F.O.C. There will be no other Voomer semen available or released, we have been asked on numerous occasions by many of the top breeders if we would sell semen from this remarkable breeding ram (his top 25 progeny have sold at auction to average over 3000gns) so this is the only chance to acquire any Voomer semen this year. WHITEHART TAYLOR MADE A consistent breeder, leaving milky ewes and strong rams. Taylor Made was purchased for 2300gns and was bred by the influential Humeston River Dance (3200gns) He has bred rams sold to 3500gns for Loosebeare Unique who sired the record breaking Pant Wolf at Builth Wells sold for 18,000gns Loosbeare Unique Son of Taylor Made 11

16 CAEREINION TOP NOTCH son of the 12,000gns Number One and dam by Summerwood Grand Union (who sired Loosebeare Imp sold for 120,000gns), was purchased for 2,000gns and full natural brother sold to John Elliot at the same figure. Top Notch was interbreed Champion at Royal Cornwall 2014 and sired rams to 3600gns for the Kelso Borders Champion Son of Top Notch - Champion at Kelso WHITEHART ULTIMATE Son of Cherryvale Shergar (7800gns) We were kindly lent the use of this massive ram (biggest texel I have ever used) Ultimate was retained by Jim & Nic and considered the best Shergar son they have bred. 17 HENDRE FLOCK FOREWORD The Hendre Flock based in Herefordshire is run basically to produce yearling rams for the commercial market. Highlight for the flock was winning Overall Championship at the main NSA ram sale at Builth Wells, where he was sold into the noted Whitehart Flock. 33 CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. The highest bidder shall be the purchaser and if any dispute shall arise between two or more bidders, the lot in dispute is to be put up again at the sum last bid or the Auctioneers may declare the purchaser. 2. The bidding is to be ruled by the auctioneers who may without giving any reason refuse to accept the bid of any person. 3. No person shall retract a bid without permission of the Auctioneers, who reserves the right to himself of refusing a bid, and also the right of withdrawing any lot or lots from the sale. 4. No bidder may advance less at a bid than the sum named from time to time by the Auctioneers. 5. The Purchaser must declare their name and address and if required to, pay the Auctioneers or his clerk the amount of purchase money immediately on the fall of the hammer. In default of which the lot or lots shall be offered again and re-sold, and under no circumstances must any lot be removed without first obtaining a pass from the clerk. 6. Title to each asset sold will only pass on payment in full by the Purchaser. Purchasers attention is drawn to the Retention of Title clause 20.7 on the Conditions of Sale recommended for use in livestock auction markets by the Livestock Auctioneers Association as displayed in the sale office. 7. The Auctioneers reserve the right of deviating from the catalogue either by amalgamation or dividing the lots, as circumstances may require, and also by deviating from the order of sale. 8. The lots are to be under the immediate care of the Purchasers who must take the same with all faults, imperfections and errors of description (if any) and remove the same at their own expense and risk, and no purchaser shall be allowed to remove lots from the premises until the whole of the purchase money is paid. 9. All statements contained in this catalogue as to the authenticity, genuineness, date, age, condition, or quality of any lot are statements of opinion and are not taken as to implying, statements or representations of fact. 10. 34 15. In the case of lots upon which there is a reserve, the Auctioneers shall have the right to bid on behalf of the seller. 16. Upon failure to comply with the above conditions, the uncleared lots will be re-sold either or by public or private sale and the deficiency (if any) and all expenses attendant thereon, shall be made good by the defaulters at this auction, who shall have no claim for any surplus that may arise. 17. The Auctioneers may rescind any sale within 3 hours of the final lot being sold if the lot has been sold under reserve. In the event of such rescission the purchase price or any part already paid by the Buyer shall be repaid but the parties and the Auctioneers shall be under no further liability to each other. 18. LIVESTOCK.
