Riders name -Dressage R per night per horse. Stallions need to be clearly indicated on the entry form. Stables will be allocated on a first come first paid basis. Stable requests will be given consideration but please understand we are not able to meet all stabling requests. Use of stables not STABLING allocated and paid for prior to the show by ANY competitor, horse or owner, will result in the rider being fined and disqualified from the show. Stables will be open from the 12 December. Please put on stabling request date of arrival and departure. If you will be arriving before the 12 December please send me an . The advertised programme and classes will be adhered to as far as possible. However, in the light of unforeseen circumstances the Organising Committee in consultation with the DSA Representative reserves the right to cancel, combine, divide or postpone any class VARIATION OF PROGRAMME providing such alteration is within the frame work of Rules. No refunds after closing date of entries. Consolation classes will be offered if so required by the OC and DSA Representative. The onus is on the competitor to check the final starting order before the start of the class. 2

The event will be run under current DSA rules and General Regulations unless otherwise stated. The arenas will be Open on Wednesday 12 th December for familiarisation. Please book time slots through Nicky-(031) R per half an hour slots. Only designated warm up arenas may be used at other times. This must be supplied on a Flash Drive with a backup CD in MP3 Format. ONE FLASH DRIVE AND CD per horse. This must be taken to the announcer ON Friday 14 th December by 14h00 (remember all these need to be checked, please don t bring them late) in a clearly marked envelope with rider s name, horses name and class The onus is on the rider to ensure that he/she has checked his/her music with the sound engineer. DSA reserves the right to sample for prohibited substances from any horse or rider at this event. All horses entered in this show must have fully completed SAEF or FEI passports. Passports must accompany the horse. Competitors whose passports are not up to date or incomplete (including vaccinations) will be fined as per DSA / SAEF regulations. All horses must be vaccinated with AHS vaccine and with Equine Influenza and in accordance with the regulations laid out in the equestrian rules. Horses that do not comply may be refused permission to compete and can be asked to leave the show grounds. Any owner or rider who attempts to interfere with or influence judges, officials or stewards, or who at any time on the show grounds uses any contemptuous or abusive language to any of the judges, officials or stewards will forfeit his/her rights to any prizes to which they might otherwise be entitled and will receive a yellow card which will require them to remove themselves and their horse from the grounds pending a disciplinary enquiry. Minimum 40% of entry fees, excluding levies payable, plus Sponsorship. All Prize winners are obliged to attend prize giving correctly dressed. PRIZE GIVING IS COMPULSORY. If you do not attend prize giving you may forfeit your prize money and any gifts for donations from sponsors may be reallocated. The show holder will not be responsible for keeping your prizes for you or getting your prizes and gifts to you. Prize-givings for all classes will be Unmounted except for the Team prize Giving and Freestyle classes, which will be mounted. Only sponsored blankets from the show sponsors will be allowed in mounted prize giving s. Teams will compete in the Qualifying class. Open Team: Open to Pony Riders and Children on Elementary, Elementary-Medium and Medium Ponies or Horses in any combination. The team may consist of 4 athletes and 5 horses with the top 3 scores to count. Teams will ride the Pony Rider National Team Test (2010) Junior and Young Riders Combined Teams: Novice: Open to Juniors and Young Riders on Novice Horses in any combination. The team may consist of 4 athletes and 5 horses with the top 3 scores to count. Teams will compete in the Qualifying class. Elementary: Open to Juniors and Young Riders on Elementary Horses in any combination. The team may consist of 4 athletes and 5 horses with the top 3 scores to count. 6 DRESSAGE CLASSES Dressage tests will be on your login profile on the DSA Online system. Junior & Pony Rider Prelim Freestyle tests available from the show holder on request Access to your profile can be gained through the website: Prelim entries may be recreational or full members of DSA. Horses/Ponies must enter in the grade in which they are registered. The Championship and Freestyle classes in each section are to be ridden from memory and without whips If a SA Championship is won by a competitor who is the only entrant for that championship he/she must attain a minimum score of 60% to be awarded the SA Champion title for that grade. Where numbers permit, the top 15 horses will qualify to ride in the Championship. There are additional DSA Preliminary Classes for Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders.
