6 10 BANGALORE TURF CLUB LTD. NOTICE Reg : Sweepstakes Races The Stewards reserve the right to refuse an entry or to cancel an accepted entry at any stage without assigning a reason. Entries for Sweepstakes races are accepted subject to the following conditions, that the Stewards reserve the right in connection with any of these races, should the conditions existing warrant it, to cancel these races or to reduce the amount of the prize money, entrance, forfeits and acceptance fees advertised. No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that it is subject to the Rules of Racing of Bangalore Turf Club Ltd. and the General conditions as published in the Prospectus of Bangalore Summer Meeting 2016 and that all disputes, claims and objections arising out of such entry and / or the start and / or the running and / or the result of the race as in all other races under the Rules of the Club shall be decided by the Stewards and that their authority shall be supreme and their decision shall be final and shall not be liable to be questioned in any court of Law. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the name of any race after the closing of Entries and to increase the advertised Stakes for any race prior to Final Forfeits. NOTICE 1. It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that all horses arriving at the premises of Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., should possess the following documents without which they will be strictly prohibited from entering the B. T. C. premises :- (a) A valid Coggins Test Certificate negative for E. I. A. (b) (c) 11 A health Certificate from the Senior Veterinary Officer of the respective club stating that the horse does not show any clinical signs of E. I. A., Glanders, AHS strangles or Equine Influenza at the time of its departure. An endorsement in the passport to the effect that they have been administered with approved vaccination against Equine Influenza. The details of the vaccination such as Date and Name of the Vaccine, Batch No. and Expiry date (vignette) should be endorsed in the passport and must be duly signed by the Senior Veterinary Officer of the respective club. 2. No horse will be permitted to race during Bangalore Summer Meeting 2016 unless stabled in B.T.C. premises with the prior permission of the Management. 3. As regards local horses (Bangalore based) stables will be provided to horses aged 3 to 8 years rated 00 and above. 4. (a) As regards the visiting horses for Bangalore Summer Meeting 2016, the following category of horses alone are eligible for allotment of stables in order of priority subject to the availability of stables :- (i) All 3 and 4 years old that are entered for Bangalore Summer Classic/s 2016 and not struck out till the date of stable allotment. 30th March, 2016 By Order of the Stewards, K. (b) (ii) 3 and 4 years old that are entered for at least THREE Sweepstakes races to be run during Bangalore Summer Meeting (iii) Horses aged 3 to 8 years rated above 65. Notwithstanding the above, horses aged 4 years old and over which have not raced since 1st May, 2015 and horses aged 4 years old and over which have not placed First, Second, Third or Fourth in their last Ten starts will not be allotted stables.

7 (c) Visiting horses will not be allowed to participate in races earmarked for horses rated 00 to 20. (d) Application for stable accommodation should be submitted on or before 30th April, However, horses which are eligible will be permitted to enter the B.T.C.premises from 20th March, (e) 12 No Course Fee or Stable Rent will be charged in respect of outstation horses which run at least TWO TIMES during Bangalore Summer Meeting However, in case a horse fails to complete two runs, service charges as detailed below will be debited to the account of the Owner concerned : If the horse does not race at all Rs. 50,000/- (b) (i) (c) 13 No service charge will be levied in case the horse is accepted to run in any race if the entry was made for a maximum of two races during the week. (ii) Service charge will be levied even if the horse is accepted to run in any race if the entry was made for more than two races during the week as per 9 (a) (ii) above for every additional entry. Service charge will be 2% of the stakes to the winner for horses entered, accepted and withdrawn on any other ground except on Veterinary ground or for fractious behaviour at the starting gates at the time of starting in which case no service charge will be levied. If the horse runs once Rs. 25,000/- 5. Horses aged 9 years old and over will not be permitted to race during Bangalore Summer Meeting 2016, except in Sweepstakes Races. 6. Stables allotted to a particular Owner/Trainer must be occupied only by horses in his charge. Stables applied for and not occupied before the commencement of Bangalore Summer Meeting 2016 will be allotted to other Owners/Trainers without any further notice. No Owner/Trainer will be permitted to sublet the stables allotted to him. 7. Horses on arrival should be produced before the Club s Veterinary Officer and a certificate of soundness obtained. 8. The Club accepts no responsibility for any damage to horses, employees or property whilst in these stables or within the premises. 9. No Entry Fee or Forfeit will be charged in all races except Sweepstakes races. However, (a) (i) service charges will be levied as under for horses entered and 0.25% of stakes to the winner in case the entry is made only for one race during the week. 0.5% of stakes to the winner in each race in case the entry is made for more than one race during the week. 30th March, 2016 By order of the Managing Committee, K. No horse will be eligible to participate in any race at other centre/s except for the race for which permission has been granted. b. No horse will be eligible to participate at other centre/s without running at BTC at least once. c. In case a horse temporarily leaves the centre, subsidy will be recovered for the period of absence only, if the period extends beyond one month. d. If any horse which has left BTC temporarily for racing at any other centre participates in a race for which permission has not been granted then such horse/s will not be eligible for subsidy, incentives and stable given to a local horse and will be treated as an outstation horse. e. Horses who participate in any preparatory race at any other centre after obtaining permission by the undersigned will continue to be treated as local horses. 9 NOTICE REG : ALLOTMENT OF STABLES TO OUTSTATION HORSES ON A PERMANENT BASIS. Trainers and Owners are hereby informed that Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., will permit the following category of horses coming from any racing centre in India for allotment of stables on a Permanent basis at Bangalore to participate in Bangalore races :- (i) Horses aged 3 years who have won at least one race. (ii) Horses aged 4 to 6 years rated 50 and above under B.T.C. Rules of racing. However, the allotment of stables to these horses are subject to the following conditions : a) These horses should have entered or guarantee to enter for at least ONE Classic or THREE Sweepstakes races to be run during Bangalore Summer Meeting b) Horses aged 4 years old and over which have not placed first, second, third or fourth in their last ten starts and horses aged 4 years old and over which have not run since 1 st May, 2015 will not be considered for allotment of stables. c) A maximum of FIFTEEN eligible horses will be considered for allotment of stables, on a first-come first-serve basis subject to availability of stables. d) A maximum of THREE horses only will be allowed per trainer/ owner. e) These horses should be under the charge of A licensed trainers based in Bangalore. These horses will be permitted strictly within the upper limit of 45 horses per trainer. f) These horses will not be permitted to participate at any other centre without running at least once at Bangalore. g) These horses will be treated as local horses except that the Owner/Trainer will not be extended any subsidy or incentive in respect of such horses for the first one year. h) These horses will be treated as full fledged local horses from 1 st May, 2017 and will be extended all the benefits given to local horses thereafter. i) A service charge of Rs. 1,00,000/- per horse will be levied on the owner/trainer in case such horse leaves B.T.C premises before 1 st May, 2017 or even if the horse fails to participate at least four times exclusively at Bangalore before 31 st March, 2017,the above service charge will not be condoned under any circumstance. j) Allotment of stables will be at the entire discretion of the management which will be final and binding. k) All horses arriving at the premises of Bangalore Turf Club Ltd., should possess the following documents without which they will be strictly prohibited from entering the B.T.C. premises:- (i) (ii) (iii) A valid Coggins Test Certificate negative for E.I.A. 10 17 BANGALORE TURF CLUB LTD. PERFORMANCE LINKED INCENTIVES TO OWNERS OF BANGALORE BASED HORSES 1. In respect of local horses (Bangalore based) 15% incentive on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th stakes earned in ordinary races during Bangalore Summer Meeting 2016 will be credited to the accounts of the Owner/s concerned. 2. In respect of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th placed local horses earning stakes in ordinary races during Bangalore Summer Meeting 2016, the following incentive will be credited to the accounts of the Owner/s concerned : Winner Rs. 42,000 Second Rs. 21,000 Third Rs. 12,600 Fourth Rs. 4,872 Fifth Rs. 2,352 Sixth Rs. 1, In respect of horses bred in Karnataka, 10% incentive on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th stakes earned in ordinary races during Bangalore Summer Meeting 2016 will be credited to the accounts of the Owner/s concerned. 4. In respect of local horses, 20% incentive on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th stakes earned in ordinary races during Bangalore Summer Meeting 2016 will be credited on a pro-rata basis to the concerned Owner/s provided such Owner/s has/have no interest in more than five local horses excluding 2-year-olds (Foaled in 2014) owned either individually and/or jointly and/or by a syndicate. The cut off date for determining the eligibility for the above incentive will be 1st November, 2015 after which any owner acquiring interest in more than five horses excluding 2-year-olds (Foaled in 2014) will automatically cease to receive the above incentive from that date. Note : Horses who have not run since 1st May, 2015 and horses who have not placed first,second,third or fourth in their last ten starts as on 1st May, 2016 are not eligible for the above incentives. 30th March, 2016 By order of the Managing Committee, K.
