Entry Fee $25 $135, $85, $70, $60, $50, $40, $35, $25 The Mid-South Elevator $1500 Hunter Classic Amateur and Junior Riders Only Fences 2 6, 3 or Entry Fee: $40 $425, $300, $225, $150, $120, $110, $90, $80 1st round is 2nd O/F class of the qualifying seckon; 2nd round will be ridden immediately following qualifying class. The KTB Wealth Partners & Serenity Acres $1000 Spring Jumper Classic Stay for the Jumper Classic and enjoy free snacks and beverages for all! Classic to be held as the last Jumper event on Saturday at choice of three fence heights. Jumpers in the classic must enter all three classes of a qualifying division. First round of the classic is Table II, 2a, highest fences first. Jump-off will follow, lowest fences first. Your highest qualifying division determines your classic height. Qualifying divisions with corresponding Classic fence heights: Puddle Classic Height 2 3 Hopeful, Pony or Low Schooling Classic Height High Schooling, Child/Adult, Jr/AO -- Classic Entry Fee $35 $275, $200, $150, $120, $100, $70, $50, $35 Minimum of 8 entries for classics. If fewer entries, prize money will be reduced.

5 MHJA HORSE SHOW RULES Some sections will be combined or divided as specified in the MHJA Rule Book, which is available in the horse show office. Points will be awarded in the appropriate section. CLASSICS AND SPECIAL CLASSES Horse/Rider combination must compete in a complete qualifying hunter division to be eligible. The second O/F class in the qualifying division will count as the first round of any classic. Jumpers and their riders must compete in at least three jumper classes at the show to be eligible for a jumper classic. All classics require a minimum of 8 horses. If fewer than 8 are entered, the prize money may be reduced. RIDING NOT TO BE JUDGED is not permitted at any MHJA horse show. THE SHOW MANAGEMENT REQUESTS THAT ALL COMPETITORS MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO BE AT THEIR CLASSES IN A TIMELY FASHION. If necessary to expedite the horse show, the One Minute Rule or the dotted line rule will be put into effect. The dotted line is marked on the posted courses. SCRATCHING & ADDING CLASSES: You must ENTER IN THE SHOW OFFICE BEFORE you ride in a class, and you must SCRATCH IN THE SHOW OFFICE BEFORE the class begins. $15 penalty for each class ridden without entering, scratching or adding. PARKING We ask your cooperation in keeping designated spaces free of cars, trucks and trailers. This is for your safety and that of your children and your horses. A $50 fine will be added to the show bill for offenders. SECURITY and MEDICS The Canton Police will patrol the facility regularly during the night. Emergency Medical Support will be on the show grounds during the show and all published schooling hours. Night Check is not available. IMPORTANT ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR A USEF APPROVED HELMET WHEN MOUNTED! MHJA UPCOMING HORSE SHOWS All MHJA sponsored shows are in Canton, MS. Members receive double MHJA points at these shows! 6 STALLS AND SHAVINGS Stall reservations made verbally are absolutely binding. If the reservation is taken by telephone, it is understood to be guaranteed by the person who is listed on the entry form. Any stall that is requested and not used will be charged. All tack stall splits must be submitted before the horse show starts. Shavings will be delivered before arrival if arrangements have been made with the show manager. Please VERIFY that the correct number of bags have been delivered BEFORE you open and spread the shavings. Please call immediately if your shavings and stalls are not correct. Once shavings have been opened, no accommodation can be made for an incorrect delivery. The Canton facility s rental policy states clearly that exhibitors may not bring their own shavings onto the horse show grounds. A minimum purchase of two bags of shavings is required. MEMBERSHIPS The horse show year runs from December 1 to November 30. JOIN NOW FOR 2018 if you want your points earned at this show to count. MHJA, LHJA and GCHJC MEMBERSHIP FORMS, MHJA RULE BOOKS and a current list of MHJA members are available in the horse show office. Must be ridden at beginning of division. Judge will award a numerical score: receives red, 76+ receives blue. SHORT and LONG STIRRUP SHORT STIRRUP open to horses and ponies ridden by a junior age 12 and under. NO CROSS ENTERING except age group equitation. LONG STIRRUP specs are the same except riders must be a junior or amateur over 12 years old. Can be combined if less than 3 in either section. Fences 18-2 BABY GREEN - Open to horses in their first or second year of showing. Fences 2 6. PRE-GREEN - Open to horses and ponies who have never shown over fences 3 6 or higher at a USEF show. Eligible PRE-GREEN two years once they begin the division. Fences MHJA HUNTER PONY - Open to ponies ridden by a junior rider. Age restrictions as in USEF Pony Hunter.
