3 General Show Information And Admission Charges Friday - Free Admission No Entertainment Other Than Horse Events, Show jumping, Pavilion Saturday Admission Charges Adults & Competitors $15.00 Seniors $ Children (5-16 years) $ Children under 5 years Free Family Ticket (2 Adults, 2 children) $35.00 Additional child $ 1.00 Members & Members Cars Free Car Entry (per day) $ 5.00 Membership $12.00 All persons entering the Show shall pay the above charges. Members free on show day on production of Membership ticket. No reserved ringside car parking. Trade Space Charges - Saturday Space $30.00 per metre frontage Electricity $30.00 per day All trade space charges are based on size of stall per metre frontage. Costing covers the trade space for the duration of the show. Competitors Camping Charges All competitors using trucks, floats, caravans &/or tents as accommodation on the showground prior to, during or after show days will be charged the following camping fees plus normal gate entry fees - $85.00 per week plus $50 electricity per week per van or vehicle - $15.00 per night camping plus $10.00 per day electricity per van or vehicle. Any accident occurring during the annual show or Greyhound Race meeting held by the Association must be reported to the Secretary s office and verified during the current dates of the show or other function, otherwise the Association will accept no responsibility for the consideration of any claim. 3

5 ALL SHOW JUMPING AND HORSE RING EVENTS NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR HENDRA and PIC (Property Identification codes) Property Identification Codes (PIC) Every exhibitor bringing one or more horses to the show for either show jumping or horse ring events will be required to list each horse being shown together with the PIC for the property from which the horse has come on the waiver form before competing. Failure to provide a PIC will disqualify a horse from competing. Hendra Every exhibitor will need to acknowledge on the waiver form, that, to the best of their knowledge, their horse has either been vaccinated or the animal does not need to be vaccinated due to the location of the stabling of the horse being outside of the current Hendra affected areas. If a horse comes from endemic Hendra affected Areas, it must be vaccinated. 5

6 SHOW JUMPING The course and obstacles and the condition of contest for use or application in the contesting and judging of this class will be such as the Committee, shall in its discretion, determine. The course, obstacles and conditions of competition will, however, correspond in the main with those recognised by the Federation Equestre Nationale. Awards will be checked for entry fees. If no entry fee is paid prizemoney will not be paid. ENTRIES can be accepted at Post Entry Office or by pre entry. Contact Dapto Show office on for pre entry details or facebook / dapto showground In all jumping events, the rider only may inspect the course. Horse and Rider competing, and ONE other standing by ONLY allowed in the ring at the one time. Once the post entry draw has been completed and posted all events are then to start 30mins after the posting of the draw. ALL Assessment cards MUST be handed into the Post Entry Office, before the start of each Jumping Event. If cards are not handed in prizemoney will be withheld. All contestants must jump in order drawn. Failure to do so will incur Disqualifications. New F.E.I. Show Jumping rules will apply. All entries must be made 2 hours prior to event. 9 Section 2 Ring & Horse Events CHIEF STEWARD MICHAEL PRATT ALL ENTRIES TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY THEIR ENTRY FEE EXCEPT PONY CLUB EVENTS. All Pony Classes shall not exceed 14 hands in height. Galloway classes will be over 14 hands not exceeding 15 hands. Random measuring may be undertaken by the chief steward at his discretion. Failure to comply to the request will lead to disqualification. Any competitor found to have breached the ASC disputes and disciplinary regulations will be investigated by the ASC Disciplinary Committee. Random drug testing for horses will be conducted by ASC at six (6) shows this year. If participants are asked and they refuse, disqualification will result. Disqualified horses will not be allowed to compete. Excessive spurring will lead to the disqualification of riders. All spurs to be padded to the satisfaction of the Stewards. Exhibitor s kindly note that the schedule will be strictly adhered to. Any exhibitor not in the ring at the appointed time will be liable to be debarred from competing in the particular class. All exhibitors must, in the opinion of the Judges, be first class of their kind to secure a prize, & judges are requested to exercise care not to award a prize unless the exhibit is up to standard. All competitors must be properly attired. To speed up the recording of place getters you will be issued with a ticket number once you purchase your first ticket and you will have to submit details of horse, owner and riders. You will be given a number for the horse and another number for the rider. If there will be a number of riders for the same horse during the show, then each rider must have a separate number. The horse will have the same number for each rider. The forms will be available at the Post Entry Box. COMPETITORS MUST CHOOSE BETWEEN OPEN AND SHOW HUNTER CLASSES YOU CANNOT COMPETE IN BOTH Horses are requested to remain in marshalling area until called. Laneway must be kept clear. If events clash, competitors may have to decide which event they wish to enter.
