Over the course of this year, the Mason-Dixon conference officers and State representatives has met with this year s Host Salisbury Aerie / Auxiliary # 4503 officers/ Conference committee for the set-up meetings. Chairman Robbie reviewed the contract with the host Aerie officers and all is in order for said conference. Some of us may arrive on Thursday evening, and others on Friday morning to begin setting up the room and be ready for our event when we will begin on Friday. The hours for this Mason Dixon Conference will be: Friday March 31, 2016 beginning approx 2:00 PM (or as people arrive) until close. Saturday April 1, 2016 we will resume fund raising at 9:00 AM and will continue throughout the day, with the exception of breaking long enough for our annual meeting. Salisbury Aerie # 4503 will have food available at all times. Their regular menu will be available. As in the past on these two days, we do what we Eagles do best having fun and promoting our motto, People Helping People. As always we need to work on DONATIONS!!! Any Aerie/Auxiliary or any individual wishing to donate items to chance off, please get in touch with your state representatives or contact Mary Wilson, As we know, the various baskets are always a big hit. Let s see if we can outdo ourselves this year. Any checks that are donated please make them payable to the Mason-Dixon Conference. At the end of the conference we will in turn write our incoming GP s a check to them. We need items to donate for our auctions! We will NOT be doing the Balloons this year. Instead, we are trying a new approach. Come on out and see what we did. If you could bring items to donate that we can use as the prizes, that would be very helpful. In fact, if possible, would you send Robbie and letting him know how many donated items, so we can prepare for the fun. Our new fun will go for a $1.00 donation. On Saturday morning we break for a short meeting at 11:00 AM to conduct business. At this time we elect new officers and announce your new State representatives and set plans for next years conference. Anyone interested in holding an office please be present or write a letter stating your interest.

24 We need letters from each interested Aerie that would consider hosting 2017 s Mason- Dixon conference. We should be going back to Delaware for our 2018 Conference. Each year we also pay tribute to our deceased Eagle brothers & sisters with a Memorial Service that the Host Aerie will conduct. The banquet takes place on Saturday night; the cost is $15.00 per person. Please make your reservations early so the Host Aerie will know exactly how much food to prepare. Anyone with food allergies will be accommodated with replacements. Be sure you contact Herman Purnell in a timely fashion at: Or send Herman an at: herman@moonbeam.biz. Cut off date to reserve dinner tickets is Saturday, March 25, There will be entertainment both Friday and Saturday nights. All dress is casual. There is ample parking available at the Aerie Home, however we encourage the use of shuttles. The conferences is casual dress and totally smoke free. As everyone is aware about different states and county liquor laws there is no liquor allowed to be brought in to the premises. If you wish to donate baskets with a liquor theme, arrangements will be made. Let s not forget our Pennies from Heaven. Bring your change and or bills, for when the time comes drop it out on the floor or in the bucket. Let s all watch as our Grand President elects, Tom and Helen clean up the Aerie floor!
