Broadway, Wichita, Kansas unless otherwise stated. The Newsletter is published monthly for the members of the Air Capital Corvette Club and other Car Clubs who wish to share newsletters or information with our club. 3 March 3rd. Drive & Eat Meet in the parking lot south of the Ice Sports Wichita Skating Rink 505 W. Maple. Group Leaves Promptly at 7:00 PM Congratulations To Larry Bates and Terry House for their outstanding showing at the Salt City Rod and Custom Show.Terry House took 1st place in his class and Larry Bates took 1st place in his class and was voted Best Corvette of the Show! Larry s 1980 white Corvette was honored by being awarded the Charlie Barber Jr. Award which is voted on by the Hutchinson Corvette Club in honor of one of their former members who died at an early age. 4 Air Capital Corvette Club Meeting Minutes February 2, 2000 Meeting was called to order by President Dick Volkman at 7:08 P.M. Motion was made and seconded to accept the January minutes and approved. Treasure Joni Wilson reported the checking account has a balance of $ and the savings account balance is $ The Banquet awards were as follows. 5th place to Gary & Betty Henderson, 4th place to Kent & Louise Michael, 3rd place to Don & Angie Crigler, 2nd place to Daryl & Cindy Burbach, 1st place to Ray Wyatt. The door prize was won by Art & Darlene Warren. Grady Wilson will present the cake to Don Hattan Chev on February 14th in appreciation for the use of their facilities for the ACCC meetings. It was decided to have the Funkhana as an NCCC event, the date has not been determined as of this time. Kent Michael advised the cancelled turkey run will be the April fool run some time in April. Motion was made by Terry Lane and seconded by Cindy Burbach to have (4) of the monthly drive and eats to be held on a Saturday each year. Motion passed. Discussion was to make the Saturday drives over 50 miles in distance. E-board meeting will be at the Wilson s at 7:15 P.M. February 15, Terry Lane won the pot.
