2 Welcome to the Automobile Racing Club of America Founded in 1953 as a Midwest-based stock car racing series, ARCA has grown to represent the most diverse nationally touring stock car series anywhere. ARCA is the second-longest running championship racing series in the country, and remains consistently dedicated to fans, competitors, and sponsors at the highest levels of the sport. ARCA founder John Marcum s association with NASCAR founder Bill France Sr. predates the sanctioning body itself, and the two remain joined on companion weekends at the same high-profile racing venues that host NASCAR s most elite series. 3 Program Introduction With this presentation, you will be introduced to the ARCA Performance Partners Program, and the 214 Manufacturers Contingency Program Opportunities. The ARCA Performance Partners Program is the Series Prize Money and Decal Program, the contingency program which allows sponsors access to the drivers, team members, and car owners. The ARCA Performance Partners Program rewards teams and drivers for displaying sponsor decals, and for utilizing sponsor products and services. Sponsor representation includes display of decal, and presence in victory lane, plus the opportunity to integrate components into the core of the sport. The ARCA Performance Partners Program has been designed exclusively for high-performance manufacturers and service providers; those companies who primarily market to the motorsports world through the competitor base. General consumer products will not be eligible to participate in the Performance Partners Program. ARCA has designed multiple levels of participation at each of three tiers of racing, ranging from the flagship national tour to regional developmental series. Each level of participation allows performance product manufacturers and service providers a range of options, from becoming an Official Company to activating in a traditional fender decal contingency program. A wide variety of different opportunities allow customized participation for companies of any size, and with any goal in mind. 1

4 The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards ARCA s National Tour, the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is the flagship division of the sanctioning body. Strategically positioned as a driver development series as well as a destination for professional stock car racers, this series has performed at more than two-hundred race tracks in twenty-six states nationwide and Canada. The National Tour boasts an eighteen to twenty-two race schedule annually, and is often aligned with NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Camping World Truck series events. As many as 16 teams compete each year and combined, carry and represent more than 4 sponsors. The ARCA Racing Series competes on a diverse mix of race tracks: short tracks; road courses; intermediate and superspeedways, and dirt tracks. Highlights include annual visits to some of the most famous venues in the sport, places like Daytona, Talladega, Pocono and Winchester. This mix of venues requires special skill sets from not only the drivers, but the crews as well. The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is a true test for man and machine. 6 Program Administration and Validation ARCA has worked hard to make supporting the series as easy as possible. Each team is provided a copy of the ARCA Awards Program Details guide, detailing each sponsorship program. The entry blank for each event lists all special awards and contingency award programs in detail, and breaks down the distribution of posted contingency money for eligible teams. Eligibility is determined by each program, including but not limited to display of decals and contingent use of product. Teams failing to meet requirements are not eligible for awards and awards are presented to the next eligible team in the event of non-compliance, guaranteeing 1% payout. The ARCA Marketing Department and the ARCA Competition Department each participate in the validation process, through visual/manual checklists of decal application and photo back-up, to physical inspection of the vehicles pre and post race. ARCA handles all administration of the prize money and program validation and offers to fulfill product certificate distribution. Sponsors receive electronic contingency reports following each event. 4

7 Option 1 - Official Company Official Company status provides Official Product status for three separate brands under the corporate program, category marketing exclusivity for the product brands, and a separate contingent use of product awards program for each product brand. An Official Company status within the ARCA Performance Partners Program allows for the display of up to four decals inside a single program. The Official Company s corporate logo decal will be placed high on the front fender of all eligible cars, and each of the Official Company s participating brand s logo decals will also appear on the cars. Corporate logo placement on driver uniforms enhances the exposure, as well as :3 second radio commercials in each event, print advertising, and logo presence on two ARCA Mobile Office transporters. More than 6% of the program fees are direct participant cash awards. 8 Option 2 - Official Product Official Product status within the ARCA Performance Partners Program provides category exclusivity from a marketing perspective, within the series. No competing product will be allowed to advertise as a series sponsor. Official Product status also involves contingent use of product for awards eligibility, as well as decal placement on cars and logo inclusion on driver uniform. Multi-media advertising, through radio and print promotion, enhances the on-site exposure elements of the Official Product program. 9 Preferred Partner Plus Program ARCA has expanded its relationship with CV Products Professional Race Services (PRS) through a multi-year contract extension for at-track service provider, and together PRS and ARCA have created the addition of the Preferred Partners Plus option for Performance Partners. The Preferred Partners Plus program is an exciting enhancement option to the standard fender decal sponsorship programs offered by ARCA. The Preferred Partners Plus option offers the following enhanced assets, over and above the traditional sponsorship inclusions: ARCA s CV Preferred Partners Plus program provides Cometic increased visibility in the garage area as well as the opportunity to inventory our products trackside. CV products has been a key distribution partner of Cometic for many years so it made sense to carry that relationship forward with a highlighted presence at ARCA Series races across the country. Product use validation by ARCA ensures that awards are earned only by those competitors supporting your company. Decal placement and print advertising enhance the exposure opportunities. 14 ARCA recently extended agreements with the ARCA/CRA Super Series and the ARCA Midwest Tour to open up yet another top-notch venue for drivers to develop on the racing chain. These 6 horsepower template bodied, late model cars race in regional touring series events at some of the most famous tracks in the Midwest. What s more, the champions of those series get a chance to test at Daytona International Speedway each year through ARCA s Road to Daytona program. Champion Racing Association (CRA) Powered by JEGS is a racing sanctioning body that primarily oversees the scheduling, administering, and officiating of the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS for Super Late Models, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance for Crate Late Models, as well as the CRA Late Model Sportsman and CRA Street Stock Divisions. Additionally, CRA assists in promoting other racing events and is the sole promoter of two events during the season. From 25 to 21, CRA served as the promoter and manager of all events at the legendary Winchester Speedway. Constructed with a more common ABC template and straight rail chassis specifications the ARCA/CRA Super Series opens the market opportunity to even more pavement racers and race teams in the Great Lakes Region. Underneath the stock appearing body, is some of the most advanced stock car racing technology being used anywhere. The typical engines are 358 cubic inches and have a modified 39-cfm carburetor. In recent years the series has averaged annually, 17 races at 13 different race tracks, with over 15 different drivers and 12,+ people in attendance. The Crown Jewels of the Series are the Winchester 4 at Winchester Speedway, the Redbud 3 at Anderson Speedway, and the Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway. The series is owned and managed by industry veterans Glenn Luckett and R. J. Scott. For more information visit: craracing.net The ARCA Midwest Tour will visit up to 12 different tracks in 215, spanning Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Minnesota. Sanctioned events will run between April and October. The ARCA Midwest Tour joins the ARCA CRA Super Series and ARCA Truck Series on a developmental level to support ARCA s top division, the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. The Midwest Tour has raced at historic venues such as the Milwaukee Mile, Iowa Speedway, the LaCrosse Fairgrounds, Madison International Speedway, and Elko Speedway. Major events like the 213 Howie Lettow Memorial at the Milwaukee Mile brought a record 8 entries and over 12, fans. Yearly visits at Iowa Speedway and Oktoberfest at LaCrosse see a combined 6, race fans. A unique aspect to the series is its Touring Stars program, which recognizes the top drivers committed to racing the entire Midwest Tour schedule. Touring Stars are featured throughout the year in promotion of the series and are eligible for pay bonuses. Many of racing s top stars have appeared in the Midwest Tour, including Matt Kenseth, Rusty Wallace, Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch, Ken Schrader, and more. Super late models used in the ARCA Midwest Tour will follow composite ABC body rules and straight rail chassis specifications. Engine specifications range from a 1:5.1 compression aluminum concept engine to an open 9:5.1 and spec-style engines, with tight specifics regulated by the builders and the series.
