Hello Natal Members, FROM THE CHAIRMAN S PEN Well we had another good weekend. Starting on Friday evening with lovely soup and fresh rolls. Thanks to our marshalls Charmaine and Jean.

Then we sat around the fire to have small talk and laughter. Saturday dawned and I went off to Highway regions AGM and Vannessa attended Sunshine Coast and Nomads AGM. All 3 regions are just ok.

Welcome to our visitors for the weekend John and Chantal with their sons Reilly and Declan, family of Brad and Tracy. We hope you enjoyed yourselves and that you will be back again to join us. Then we sat around the fire to have small talk and laughter. Saturday dawned and I went off to Highway regions AGM and Vannessa attended Sunshine Coast and Nomads AGM. All 3 regions are just ok. They have gotten smaller. In the afternoon, some members went up to the pub to watch the rugby, while others played games at Jean s van. We had 9 vans and 1 visitor, not a bad turnout. Please remember to pay your subs. R for the year. Next rally is at Villa Spa a really lovely park, and we will be holding our AGM at 9.30am on the Saturday, nice and early then you have the rest of the weekend to get on with. Please will as many of you try and attend even if just for the meeting. Also remember this is your region, we want your view. There are 4 positions open on the committee, if you feel you would like to serve your region for the next 2 years please come forward. No committee, no region. I just ask you all to think about it please. I would just like to thank Jean, Charmaine and Linda for all their hard work in buying and packing all the items for Natal Settlers. 2 RALLY CONVENER REPORT RIVER VALLEY National Rally Hi everyone, I m sorry Bill and I could not attend the rally to River Valley Caravan Park but as we have my son s wedding coming up on the 1 st of September finances are a bit low. I believe from what I ve heard, you all had a blast with someone falling in the fire pit, but thankfully not getting hurt. I am standing down from the committee this year and would ask that you guys think about joining the committee. It is not a hard or tiresome job. We have a lot of fun when we at meetings which are normally held on the Tuesday evening after a rally at a committee members home. I have been on the committee for 15 years now. First as Scribe and then as Rally Convenor and have enjoyed my time with everyone. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for putting up with me and I would like to wish the new Rally Convenor all the best in their new venture.
