1 EUROPEAN TAEKWONDO UNION EUROPEAN TAEKWONDO UNION 14 Solonos str P.C.10673/ Athens GREECE Date: 25 March 2017 Subject: Qualified Athletes Requirements WTF PC Bonn Tel Dear Taekwondo friends, This is to inform you of the procedure that must be followed in order the athletes from your National Federation (qualified from WTF PC 2016 Bonn) to participate at ETU European Poomsae Champs The list can be found at the end of this letter and please inform the athletes accordingly. Participants who had participated in the President Cup Poomsae 2016 (Bonn) can apply for the European Poomsae Championship 2017 in Rhodes Island /Greece (7-8/5/2017) as per following conditions: 1) Qualified participants can register through their National Federations at 2) This only applies to the Europe Region (not for participants outside Europe) 3) According to the WTF Poomsae Rules Article 5: Participants may participate in a maximum of two (2) categories. This applies to Poomsae and Freestyle. a) The winners must make a choice to participate in a maximum of two (2) categories in the Poomsae. b) Winners must make a choice to participate in a maximum of two (2) categories in the Freestyle. 4) Notice! The winners of the President Cup Poomsae in 2016 should join the same age categories to sign both Poomsae as Freestyle. So participating in another age is NOT allowed. 5) All costs with regard to participation at the ETU Championship in the broadest sense of the word shall be borne by the athlete and shall not be transferred to either the MNA or ETU.

2 6) Each MNA is responsible to send Athletes Declaration form (properly filled in and signed by the athlete) to for every medallist s quota by no later 26 April If you need any further clarification please feel free to contact ETU Office. 3 WTF President s Cup 2016 Athlete s declaration I, the undersigned, declare that I am a member of the ETU Member National Association and will follow the policies, guidelines, regulations and principles of the aforementioned federation and specifically the rules and instructions concerning participation in the national team before, during and after an ETU Championship. I concur that I accept all rules and regulations of both WTF and ETU with regard to dispute settlement and sanctioning. I understand that the aforementioned federation nor the European Taekwondo Union is at no time responsible for the financial consequences of participating at the respective ETU Championship for which I qualified by winning a medal at the WTF President s Cup. All financial aspects of my participation at the ETU Championships shall be borne by myself.
