Forms Each WORLD BOWLING member federation may register a maximum of 6 men to participate in 2018 World Men Championships. The official website of 2018 World Men Championships is 2018wmc.worldbowling.org. From March 2018 onwards, it will be continuously updated with information concerning the Championships. The official of 2018 World Men Championships is 2018WMC@worldbowling.org. From March 2018 onwards, all communication regarding to the Championships should be made through this address. Form A We are pleased to confirm that up to the issue of this Bulletin we have received confirmation from the following federations that they intend sending teams to participate in the 2018 World Men Championships: England Finland Guam Hong Kong Israel Norway Pakistan Qatar Saudi Arabia Scotland Singapore South Africa Thailand The official invitation was attached as Form A (Entry Form) with Bulletin 1 and it is also attached to this Bulletin. It is requested that the intention to participate is submitted ASAP with a deadline of July 31, * Please return Form A even if your federation does not intend to participate in the 2018 World Men Championships. We would like to remind all World Bowling Member Federations that only federations who are currently paid up members of World Bowling and your zone are allowed to participate in the championships. Official Delegation The official delegation shall include: a. A maximum of 6 male players b. Coaches for players c. Administrators for players d. Medical officers including sport psychologist and sport physiotherapist The official delegation is invited to all official functions including the Opening Ceremony as well as the Victory Banquet. 3. Updated Preliminary Schedule In order to maximize viewership opportunities for fans and outside media, the schedule of the championships has been restructured to optimize these broadcast prospects. 6 4. Official Hotels All reservations must be made directly to the relevant hotel. First night room charge guarantee of all the rooms reserved MUST be made before booking could be confirmed. The payment methods of the guarantee will be stated in the respective Official Hotel s form which will be issued in Bulletin 2. Deadline for reservation is September 24, Deadline for room cancellation is October 24, Forfeiture of the first night room charge of the rooms booked applied if cancellation is made after the deadline or for no show. All bookings are on a first-come-first-serve basis, reservations made after the deadline will be subject to availability of rooms at the official hotels and room rates may not be the same. Updated information on room availability in official hotels will be released periodically for federations reference and information. A. Visa Information No visa for entry is required for more than 170 countries/ regions. However, the visa-free period may vary among countries/ regions. The entry forms are NOT valid as visas. All countries/ territories should confirm visa information independently by checking Part II of Visit Visa/ Entry Permit Requirements for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region from the Immigration Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region: Visa application form could be found in The application process may take more than 8 weeks time. All visa applications have to be done by Hong Kong SAR Immigration Department and not through the Chinese Embassy in your country/territory. Various Fees 2018 World Bowling Coaching Conference Entry Fee Participants Overseas/ Mainland China officials, coaches and athletes who join 2018 World Men Championships Industry Partners $500 Fee (US$) $350 (Early bird: $300) This fee covers accreditation card, transportation, two lunches and three tea breaks. Method of payment of Conference fees will be informed in due course. 9 2018 WMC Entry Fee The 2018 WMC entry fee per person is US$300. This fee is payable for all members of each delegation, including athletes, coaches, managers, head of delegations and other officials including medical personnel. This fee covers accreditation card, transportation, participation in Opening Ceremony and the Victory Banquet WMC Supporter Fee The 2018 WMC Supporter fee per person is US$150. This fee is payable for all members of each delegation, including guest and supporters. This fee covers accreditation card, transportation, entry into bowling venue, participation in the Opening Ceremony and the Victory Banquet. Guests and supporters may reserve rooms in the official hotels subject to availability of rooms in each hotel. Prepayment of Fees All fees must be prepaid to WORLD BOWLING. Deadline for payment is on or before October 1, It is preferred that payments are done by credit card. Payment instructions are available on the World Bowling website, If you want to wire transfer to the WORLD BOWLING bank account, please contact the WMC office at All bank charges must be paid by the federation. 7.
