3 MOTOCROSS Demanding - Tough - Exciting - Emotional - Exhilarating All the words above describe motocross but they can also be used to describe a successful business. Motocross is is one of the most physically demanding sports on the planet where 40 athletes compete head to head over the course of a season where they endure conditions from extreme heat and hard pack dirt tracks through to deep two foot high mud and freezing temperatures as the race season spans from March through to October each year. Motocross racers truly believe that failure isn't an option and winning is everything. Racers put their life on the line every time they go out on track with jumps that can be more than 120ft long and racers propelling there self more that 35ft in the air. One of the least understood aspects of motocross by non- participating viewers is the level of physical ability and endurance required by each athlete. As the extreme nature of the sports suggests - the physical demands on the body are endless. Strength, endurance, reaction time and co-ordination are put to the test in all weather conditions and on very varied terrains. Motocross Athletes work with some of the best trainers in the business every day. Out of season and in-season they visit the gym for two sessions a day with their full time fitness trainers. The discipline and dedication it takes to become one of the 1% that actually makes it to professional level is truly mind blowing. The high levels of physical endurance as well as dedication and support from a good team enhance the sports top quality image as one of the most viewed and exciting motor sports on SkyTV today. 4 The Vision Elliott Banks Browne, a two time British Motocross Champion, has a vision to build the best team in the British motocross championship paddock. A team that has championship winning pedigree and a team that stands out from the rest. Many world wide companies such as Red Bull, Oakley and Fox have trusted in Elliott s vision and dedication throughout the years. Paul Mason of Geartec commercials has teamed up with Elliott to build the UK s premier motocross team. Husqvarna, one of the worlds leading motorcycle manufactures, has backed Elliott for the 2017 season providing him with the highest quality machinery and parts. Elliott always strives to promote his partners products and ethos and wants new partners to feel truly integrated with the team and part of something special. Since an early age Elliott has been surrounded by motocross. His Grandfather, John Banks, won 5 British Championships and came runner up in the World Championship twice. His uncle Mark Banks also won a British Championship which makes the Banks family the only family to have 3 generations of British champions. Motocross truly is in the blood. Being involved in motocross from such an early age means that Elliott has learnt what it takes to engage people with the sport which has allowed him to build the biggest profile in British motocross, connecting with millions of people.. Elliott : My goal is to build a team with the support of Paul Mason from Geartec Commercials that has people involved with the same goals, passion and commitment as ourselves. I have experience with many other teams and know what works and what does not. With the help of dedicated and professional partners I know I can build a championship winning team. My image is hugely important to me and I take the same pride in representing my partners both on and off of the track whilst maintaining the correct balance to be successful in my sport. We want team partners that see a lot of return for their investment both with successful advertising and their active association with the team. We want partners to enjoy the hospitality at race days and have fun cheering on their sponsored team whilst ultimately building brand awareness.

14 THE REALITY AS TO WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! After reading this outline we are sure you can now understand that to train on and off the bike as well as to travel and attend the races over forty five weeks a year it costs a lot of money. Not only does the team have to get to the race meetings with their vehicles but the cost of the fuel, mechanics and running a professional set up to offer our partners the best advertising opportunities possible at the events - this obviously needs additional funding. The cost of gym membership and payment to the trainer are costs perhaps not even considered by people who watch the sport and most of the fans who aspire to be like our riders would probably think they do not have to pay for that but we can assure you we do! Support with vehicles, fuel, trainer costs, the use of a motorhome and a practice van, hotels, insurance cover, licence fees and event entry are all things required to make this team successful and ultimately win championships.

15 Race Programme 2017 The team will contest: 8 Rounds of the Maxxis British championship 6 Rounds MX National series 4-6 Selected World Championship Rounds 7 Rounds Arenacross (Participation TBC) Other Pre Season International Events The World championship is over 19 rounds with racing as far afield as Thailand, Malaysia, South America, USA and South Africa as well as Europe. In the short term, the Geartec Husqvarna Motorcycles Team will partake in six of the western European rounds of the series, most importantly the British MXGP. For this foray outside of the UK the team is looking to attract extra funding from new partners to allow the team to expand with the riders potential and ambitions, this experience will further strengthen the teams performances in all home based championships.
