Challenge Age Group Classes: BMX NZ (UCI age) classes In all events - 5 riders constitute a class. 20 Classes: Mixed 5 & Under Male 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & Over Female 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40 & Over Mighty 11 Special Class This is an 'age on the day class, available to male & female riders aged 11 years on 20 October To enter this class, riders must also enter and compete in a challenge class, cruiser class or be a member of the Mighty 11 test teams. Cruiser Classes: Mixed 8-10, Male 13-14, 15-16, 17-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50 & over Female 13-16, 17-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40 & over UCI Meeting - Championship 20 Classes: Refer to separate flyer for details of entry for these classes. Riders entering the Championship classes will not be able to ride Cruiser. Classes: Men Juniors, Elite Women Juniors, Elite SuperClass: 20 Male Female 17+ SuperClass riders must also enter a 20 or cruiser class Entry Fees: $70.00 Challenge per rider per class $30.00 Mighty 11 Class. $ SuperClass (pre entry only) Entries close: ALL CHALLENGE CLASSES close 8 pm - 18 September CLUB ENTRY ONLY. Extended Entry Period: Late entries will be accepted until 8 pm - 5 October Late Entry Fees: $95.00 Challenge per rider per class $55.00 Mighty 11 Class. $ SuperClass Australian Entries: Australian pre-entry via of signed entry form to entry@bmxnz.co.nz Payment at registration is required in New Zealand Dollars. Registration: All Challenge Classes: CLUB Registration will be undertaken by Club Team Mangers only. Club Team Managers can collect club packs from registration desk between: Friday 23 October 1.00 pm 2.00 pm Saturday 24 October 8.00 am 8.30 am *Note - Registration Pack includes event number plate, which must be used for all official practice sessions. Opening Ceremony: Saturday Racing Start Times: Saturday Sunday RACE FORMATS: am am 9.30 am Kiwi Sprockets: Riders will ride in UCI age classes for this event. Standard racing formats apply. Moto draw: BMX NZ computer moto mixing & lane draws Quarter & Semi Finals snake seeding method Lane Draw Selection: Quarters, Semis and Finals Only. Order of lane choice based on count back to moto points. Championship 20 Classes; Racing will be in Block format with each round occurring at approximately minute intervals. Mighty 11 Class: 8 or less riders: 4 motos Saturday, 3 motos Sunday, points aggregated 9-24 riders: 4 motos Saturday, 2 motos Sunday then Top 8 to deadman final. 25+ riders: 4 motos Saturday, 2 motos Sunday then Top 16 to points over Semi then Top 8 to deadman final Challenge Classes: 8 or less riders: 4 motos Saturday, 3 motos Sunday, points aggregated 9 or more riders: 4 motos Saturday, 2 motos Sunday then; 9-16 riders: to deadman final riders: to deadman semi & deadman final riders: to deadman quarter, deadman semi & deadman final riders: to deadman eights, deadman quarter, deadman semi & deadman final Mighty 11 and Senior Test Teams (New Zealand & Australia) NOTE: All Mighty 11s & Senior Test Team riders are required to enter their Age Class or the Mighty 11 Class as applicable, in addition to the Test Team classes. Saturday: 3 motos, beginning of rounds 2, 3, 4 Sunday: 2 motos, beginning of round 5 and end of round 6 Points: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (All points added. 4 SuperClass: 5-8 riders - Points over 4 motos riders - 3 motos, with top 8 riders competing in a 3 heat final. 17+ riders - 3 motos, Deadman semi, with top 8 riders competing in a 3 heat final. Racing will be on Sunday only & in Block format Event Number Plates: Number plates will be issued to riders by the Club Team Manager and must be used within this event, including all official practice sessions. A rider holding a 1 8 ranking from the following meetings; Worlds 2015, BMX NZ National Championships 2015, Oceania Continental Championships 2015, North Island Titles 2014 or South Island Titles 2015 and wish to use this number at the meeting, the ranking must be clearly marked on the entry form. All riders not entering with these rankings or with an incorrect ranking will be issued with randomly selected numbers. Officials and Club Team Managers Meetings: Officials Meetings - Saturday: am Sunday: 9.00 am Club Team Managers - Friday: 6.00 pm Saturday: 30 minutes after the end of racing. Annual Trophies: Paul Fisher Memorial Trophy - For top UCI 16 Male rider Dalliston Corporate Teams Trophy Motos 1-4 Saturday. Ivan Mauger Trophy - Top NZL Mighty 11 male rider BMX NZ Mighty 11 Female Trophy Top NZL Mighty 11 female rider Registration forms at the PR office for the; Larry Gardner Manufacturers Team Trophy NBR Corporate Shield Trophy & Presentation Plate Allocation: Class numbers for Trophy Allocation: Determined from the time that entries close for Trophy purposes. Trophy Placings: Count back method will be used to rank riders on equal points at the end of racing. Challenge Classes: Classes with 8 riders or less: Trophies and Presentation Plates to 3 rd place. Classes with 9 riders or more: Trophies to 3 rd place and Presentation Plates to 8 th place. Mighty 11 Class: Trophies to 3rd place irrespective of gender, Presentation Plates to finalists in finishing order irrespective of gender Championship Classes: Trophies to 3 rd place SuperClass Purse: $2,000 NZD To be paid at prizegiving No trophies or presentation plates to be issued Purse split per BMX NZ proportions and calculated per class based on number of entries. It is the sole responsibility of all riders and Guardians to receive and act in accordance with appropriate medical advice relating to any injury or medical condition which may in any way compromise a rider s personal health or safety, or that of other riders. No rider will be permitted to compete whilst wearing or fitted with plaster cast unless a written medical clearance is obtained and presented prior to the event, stating the medical approval to compete specifically in BMX racing. Further, BMX New Zealand Inc at all times reserves the right to not permit a rider to start, should the Race Director or Chief Commissaire deem it necessary, in their opinion, to do so. Participation in this event is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions. Submission of this ENTRY FORM implies acceptance of these and other conditions of entry as provided for within the Meeting Flyer and Rules. Entry Fees: Challenge $70.00 per rider/class Mighty 11 Class $30.00 per rider SuperClass $ per rider (pre entry only) REFUNDS: These will be paid out after the meeting to the club of entry.
