Overall, Wake Forest is , while his previous school, Denver, is third. The full top 10 is below. Wins since 2015: Wake Forest Stanford Denver North Carolina Indiana Akron Seattle Creighton Clemson Air Force THE EXTRA PASS In basketball, the best offenses are known for making the extra pass passing up a good shot to get a teammate a great shot. The same can be said of the Wake Forest men s soccer team. Out of the Deacs 38 goals in the run of play, 35 have been assisted, including 14 which had double assists. That unselfish passing has been a nightmare for opposing keepers. Wake Forest s opponents have a miniscule.571 save percentage this year. For comparison, NONE of the 206 Division I teams in the country has a season save percentage that low. Those totals have helped Wake Forest lead the nation in both goals (42) and assists (49). SPRY S ARMY Spry Stadium has proven to be an unkind venue for opponents since opening in In the 22nd season hosting Wake Forest soccer, the Deacs are inside the friendly confines. Since Bobby Muuss took over before 2015, the Deacs are Wake Forest women s soccer has gone all-time at Spry Stadium. With a combined record between the two teams, Wake Forest soccer is , including a record since the start of ACC SUCCESS Wake Forest was the only unbeaten team in ACC play last year. The Deacs handed Louisville and North Carolina their lone conference defeats. The Deacs scored 20 goals in eight ACC games, five more than any other program. Wake Forest s +16 goal differential in conference play was also best in the league, six more than second-place North Carolina (+10). That trend has continued in the 2018 season, with Wake Forest s +8 goal differential ranking as the best in the ACC, ahead of Virginia (+5). NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE A total of 10 different Demon Deacons have experience competing on a youth national team or in a national team camp. Brad Dunwell, Koby Carr, Omir Fernandez, Landen Haig, Kyle Holcomb, Justin McMaster, Andrew Pannenberg, Isaiah Parente and Aristotle Zarris have experience with the U.S. Youth National Teams. McMaster also spent time with the Jamaican Youth National Teams, as has Joey DeZart. CLEAN SHEETS The Deacs have gone on several shutout streaks under Bobby Muuss, including six of 300+ minutes. Wake Forest had a program-best shutout streak end at 855:46 on Sept. 27, 2016 at Davidson. The Deacs surpassed the previous program record of 639:59, which was set in The Deacs have recorded three streaks of 500+ minutes since head coach Bobby Muuss took over in Andreu Cases Mundet recorded 12 solo shutouts last year, most since 2008 and one away from the program record.
