2 Basketball Friday Night in West Virginia The Fast Break Sports Network s Basketball Friday Night in West Virginia is your most comprehensive source for West Virginia high school basketball on the radio dial. West Virginia s only live syndicated high school basketball program provides coverage and recaps from high school gymnasiums from the coalfields to the panhandles. Every Friday night during the basketball season, Ryan Epling, Coach Ric Morrone, James Collier, Rudi Raynes and guests provide fans with continual score updates, interviews, and analysis of the evening s games along with reviews of high school basketball games that were played during the previous week. Originating from the WMUL-FM studios on Marshall University s Huntington campus, Basketball Friday Night in West Virginia airs each Friday night from 9:00 p.m. until midnight. The Fast Break Sports Network crew works behind the scenes with play-by-play crews, correspondents, coaches and statisticians across West Virginia to make certain all the scores are continually updated for our radio listeners and website viewers. RYAN EPLING THE HOSTS JAMES COLLIER Ryan is a graduate of Marshall and began as the voice of the Wayne Pioneers at the age of 16.

He has media contacts throughout the state who participate in the show. Ryan is employed by WSAZ-TV in Huntington.

James is the Sports Director for Marshall University s student radio station, WMUL-FM. James provides play-by-play and color commentary for eight Marshall sports.

James s background is that of a coach, referee, and sports broadcaster. James may be heard calling games for WMUL-FM, RSN Sports, WFGH-FM and other commercial stations throughout West Virginia.

3 RYAN EPLING THE HOSTS JAMES COLLIER Ryan is a graduate of Marshall and began as the voice of the Wayne Pioneers at the age of 16. Ryan has been heard on many Marshall sports broadcasts and has called games for local high school teams. Ryan is considered to be a walking encyclopedia of high school sports. He has media contacts throughout the state who participate in the show. Ryan is employed by WSAZ-TV in Huntington. He continues working with Marshall Athletics and also with WFGH-FM, where he serves as the voice of the Wayne Pioneers. James is the Sports Director for Marshall University s student radio station, WMUL-FM. James provides play-by-play and color commentary for eight Marshall sports. As WMUL-FM s Sports Director, James provides other student broadcasters the chance to help with the show and see the inner workings of a syndicated radio program. James s background is that of a coach, referee, and sports broadcaster. James may be heard calling games for WMUL-FM, RSN Sports, WFGH-FM and other commercial stations throughout West Virginia. RIC MORRONE Ric is in his 22nd year as the head coach of the Tolsia Lady Rebels and has been a guest host on local radio sports programs in the Tri-State area. A graduate of Marshall, Coach Morrone is employed by the Wayne County Board of Education as both a coach and educator. Coach Morrone has a large network of coaches and players throughout West Virginia who actively participate in the program. As a current coach, Morrone brings a unique perspective to listeners. RUDI RAYNES Rudi is a former West Virginia All- State basketball player and coach at Poca High School. She earned a degree in broadcast journalism at Concord University and went on to become an award-winning news anchor for WCHS-TV. Rudi serves on the board for the Huntington Prep basketball team. She is a regular RSN Sports contributor and is an instructor for Be Better Today basketball, where she gives lessons to kids of all ages and skill levels.
