Outhouse will pass former Victoria netminder Coleman Vollrath (165 GP) for the most games played in franchise history. The product of Likely, BC, who already hold the all-time franchise record for career wins, is also two victories away from becoming the first Royals/Bruins goaltender to reach 100 career regular season wins. TAKING THE LEAD: The Royals, so far this season, are undefeated when entering the third period either tied ( ) or with the lead ( ). In their history, Victoria has posted a record when leading after two, and a mark of when tied after two periods of play. SHORTHANDED: Last Sunday, Royals forward Dino Kambeitz tallied his first shorthanded goal of this campaign, the team s sixth this season. Victoria s other five shorthanded goals have been scored by Kaid Oliver (2), Tyler Lees, Ralph Jarratt and Phillip Schutlz. The teams six shorthanded tallies rank third overall in the WHL, trailing only the Prince Albert Raiders (14) and Red Deer Rebels (7). GAME WINNERS: On Sunday, Royals forward D-Jay Jerome scored his third game winning goal of the season. This puts him in a tie with Dante Hannoun for the team lead, and also ties him for third in the WHL. So far this season, Jerome has a career high in points (19), goals (11) and assists (8). CAREER FIRST: Victoria forward Logan Doust, a North Vancouver native, notched his first career WHL goal, and point last Sunday against the Giants. Doust appeared in three contests for the Saskatoon Blades last season, before being acquired in the offseason by the Royals. POINT STREAKS: Victoria forward s D-jay Jerome and Kaid Oliver are currently riding multi-game point scoring streaks.
