2 Hibiscus Coast Netball Centre 27th August 2017 TOURNAMENT Umpires: - Each team must have a non-playing qualified Umpire. - The umpire s decision is final. 2. Coaches, Managers and Umpires are welcome upstairs for light refreshments from am. Please give your name to the hostess upstairs. 3. Prize giving: will be held at 3.30pm. Certificates and prizes will be awarded to Winners and Runners up of each age group. TEAM / GAME STRUCTURE 1. Maximum 12 players in each team can be played over the course of the Tournament. 2. All teams will have a minimum of 3 games. 3. ALL GAMES a. will run on the central timer

3 b. will play 4 x 7 minute quarters (1,,1, 1 for breaks) 4. Results will be displayed on the Results notice board inside and outside of the clubrooms. 5. Winners: The winners of each section will be determined by the team that finishes their round robin games with the highest number of points, or who wins their final game. 6. In the event of a draw, a win will be determined by the highest goal differential goals scored for, divided by the goals against. 7. Points: shall be awarded as follows: 4 = win, 2 = draw, 1 = loss within 3 goals. 8. Balls: All teams are to supply their own correctly inflated regulation netball (size 5). 9. Uniforms: Correct Playing Uniform must be worn. 10. No injury time: Each team has up to 30 seconds to replace or treat a player during a game, but the game will not be stopped. 11. NO PROTESTS ARE ALLOWED. 12. Scorecards: a. Will be collected by the game umpires and returned to the control room at the end of the game. The final result will be recorded on the scorecard and will be the official score for that game. b. Each team is expected to provide a scorer, who will stand beside the official scorer (the first named team on the score-card). The official scorer will call out the team who has scored and the other team scorer will agree as the goal is circled on the score-card. 13. Behaviour: An excellent standard of behaviour is expected from Players, Coaches, Managers, Umpires and Spectators at all times. Any inappropriate behaviour will be dealt with by the HBC Netball Centre Committee. We have a zero tolerance policy and you will be asked to leave the centre if the behaviour continues. 14. Cancellations: 2 Quarters will constitute a game, in the event weather forces abandonment of play. 15. Food: will be available from the downstairs café. Hibiscus Coast Netball supports Smoke free Netball. Please do not smoke in the fenced in areas.
