Shoprite Yellow Championship Bips These bips are worn from a period of one year beginning after this Years National C/ships until the following years C/ Ships at all NERA and club rides in Namibia. No 1. Standard Weight Champion No 2. Standard Weight Champion No. 1 Heavy Weight Champion Awarded to the Standard Weight 160 km Winner of the National C/Ships, If such a rider is also the overall winner as well. If not such a rider will wear the No 2 Standard Weight Bip(where a Senior Heavy Weight was the overall winner). Awarded to the Standard Weight 160 km Winner if such a rider finishes second overall after the Heavy Weight Winner. Awarded to the Heavy Weight 160 km Winner of the National C/Ships if such a rider is also the overall winner. If not such a rider will wear the No 2 Heavy Weight Bip. No 2. Heavy Weight Champion Awarded to the Heavy Weight 160 km Winner If such a rider finishes second overall after the Standard Weight Winner. No 3. Junior & Young rider Champion No A Child Champion FNB Team Floating Trophy Awarded to the Junior & Young rider 120 km winner. Awarded to the Child 120 km Winner. Awarded to the NERA Club winner.

Awarded to the open Senior 160 km Team to complete the ride in the Shortest time. Awarded to the rider with the slowest speed at the ride calculated in km / h for any distance. Buckle A bonze buckle may be awarded to every 160 km Senior rider and every 120 km Junior & Young rider and 120 km Child Rider who successfully complete the ride. OTHER AWARDS Certificate A completion certificate must be awarded to every rider to complete the ride successfully for all distances as from a 30 km. The first three places for all distances are specified on the certificate and from the forth place downwards only the distance and time are specified with the exception that at the Walvis Bay ride the first ten placing for the 120 and 160 km riders are specified. Kilometer Acknowledgment Every 1000 km completed by a horse and/or rider are acknowledged. The rider receives a scroll inscribed with he number of 1000km attained. The
5 80 owner of the horse receives a cloth inscribed with the number of 1000 km which have been completed by the horse. Awards are not limited to the above awards and the Organising Committee of any ride may authorise any other trophies and/ or awards that such an OC may see fit.
