3 Welcome to Justamere s 20th Annual Bull Sale. Welcome to our 20th annual angus Bull Sale at justamere. Time sure does fly by. We want to thank you our many customers from all over North america for your support and dedication to not only our cattle and our program but many of you are certainly good friends, we appreciate each and every one of you. We cannot be more excited about the cattle business after so many tough years. It is a great time to see our industry reach record prices and new established levels across all sectors, from the back bone cow calf producer to the feed yard packer and the purebred cattle producer. Congratualtions to all of you who dug in, dug deep and moved forward. Now hold on, because this industry is set for record highs for the next several years as we rebuild the North amercian cow herd and industry; it s going to be very exciting. We at justamere have been very busy rebuilding our own angus cow herd with the help of our good friends and partners, Express Ranches. We are proud to be offering over 50 top quality bulls with most of them now carrying our justamere prefix. We want to thank jarold Callahan and Mr. Bob Funk for partnering with us the last several sales and supplying you our great customer with North america s top genetics while we re built our cow numbers. Our new partners in this sale are our good friends and neighbors dean and Tanya Robertson and Family of Running Steady Ranch. They are building a very exciting group of angus cattle and are located just north of Lloydminster and will be great people to work with in the future. We just got done taking pictures yesterday; with the water running and the temperatures soaring, it was a great day to be outside working cattle. Friends this is an outstanding group of angus herdsires; headlined by our junior National Champion justamere Full Throttle 486a, a bull that is set to be our next great one. also the powerful group of Sankeys justified sons anchored by our Lot 2, justamere Mastermind 645B. This group of bulls is unmatched in our minds for calving ease, performance, EPd profile, phenotypical profile and just plain common sense good cattle. They are fault free and ready to get to work for you producing your future in the cattle business. We also have some tremendous sons of our National Champion, EXaR Fotify, these bulls are big topped, deep bodied, soggy powerhouses with calving ease and superb maternal genetics built right in. The average birthweight of our sale offering is 83 pounds and the average weaning weight is a huge 814 pounds. We have always believed in ease of calving with huge growth to weaning, done by cattle that have to get out and work for a living just like you and me. He was named Junior Champion Bull at the 2014 National Show at Agribition. He is a definite powerhouse and royally bred. This bull was destined for the Denver Bull Sale but with all the confusion about testing requirements and the fact that we wanted to keep him and show him in 2015, we decided to put him in this sale and we are certainly glad we did.
