2 Kindly read the registration, general rules, conditions and explanations very carefully. Please refer to the SADTA rule book for clarification of rules, obtainable from the SADTA Office. Please note: Closing date for age groups for Novice & Amateur is the age they are at the closing date of the current competition. This does not apply to Championship & WTC dancers, which is the 31 st of December of the current year. 1. A studio CHECKLIST FORM must accompany each entry. Please see attached example page Entry Forms must be complete with correct spelling of dancer s name, correct section numbers and correct age categories, as well as database number. 3. Small groups and formations, who perform on a regular basis for an audience, are eligible for championships or WTC categories - at the trainers discretion. 4. Entries to be ed to sadtacomps@icon.co.za together with Proof of Payment. Entries not accepted without proof of payment. 5. Entry fees are not refundable. 6. All dancers to be registered with the SADTA stage branch - REGISTRATIONS close on 13 th August No late entries will be accepted. Entries close on 13 th August Teachers and trainers are to report to the registration table to collect cloth numbers, competitors cards and arm bands for their dancers. Dancers are required to wear their arm bands for the full duration of the competition. 9. A R50.00 cloth number deposit will apply to each dancer at the start of each year for Novice & Amateur Dancers. Dancers will keep their cloth numbers for the duration of the 2013 competition year and return them at the last competition where they will receive their deposits back. Printed number R30.00 on the day of the competition. 10. No parents are allowed backstage. 11. Right of admission reserved. 12. The judges decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. 13. Competitors must produce birth certificates to verify age should a challenge or question arise. Improper age entry will result in disqualification. 14. The Compere will only announce the competitors number twice. A no-show will result in disqualification. NO EXCEPTIONS! 15. Sections will be joined if insufficient entries are received. 16. Any trainer or dancer who fails to adhere to the official code of conduct will face disciplinary action as set out in accordance to the SADTA Stage Branch Disciplinary Code. 17. Medals will be awarded to the top finalists of solo and duo sections. Only the top 3 finalists will be awarded for small groups and formations. 18. Dancer participating in Solo, Duo, Small Group and Formation sections must have competed in the minimum required WTC qualifying competitions in order for their points to be recognized 19.
