2 WIAA SECTIONAL INFORMATION EAST TROY HIGH SCHOOL THURSDAY, MAY 26 th, 2016 General Information 1. Meet Director: Eric Sulik or call School Ext Meet results will be available on the WIAA website following the meet ( The coaches meeting will begin at 3:00 at the South end of the Track. 2. Bus Parking: Buses and Vans should drop athletes off by in the back of the school off of West Street. After the drop off they will be instructed where to park. Please do not park in our Main parking lot. 3. Restroom facilities are available near the concession stand. Please stay out of the school unless there is inclement weather. 4. Tents can be put up on our Soccer field only. **CHANGE** 5. Field Events will start at 3:30, with running events to begin at 4: Coaches must pick up their state qualifier medals prior to leaving. We will NOT ship them. 7. Pyramid spikes no longer than ¼ will be allowed. 8. There will be no relay cards. Athletes designated on your entry will be checked in by the clerk. 9. In order to facilitate a faster warm up time for pole-vaulters, please or FAX your pole vault weight verification form. Please FAX to: Attention John Stockowitz or stojoh@easttroy.k12.wi.us. 10. The jury of appeals will consist of 2 coaches Rob Green (Brown Deer Girls Coach) and Kevin Kriegel (Grafton Girls Coach), the meet manager (Eric Sulik - East Troy), and the two WIAA starters. The back-ups will be Lance Johnson (Lake Side Lutheran Coach) and John Houwers (Whitewater Coach). 11. Check marks for long jump, triple jump, and pole vault must be off the runway. Long jump and triple jump will be run in flights for preliminaries, using procedures. We will allow only flight 1 to do run-throughs the 10 minutes prior to the competition starting. There will be 10 minutes for run-throughs between flights, and another 10 minutes after prelims for finalists. 12. Shot and discus will be run in flights with 10 minutes between flights and another 10 minutes between preliminaries and finals. The procedure will be used. Shot puts and discus will be weighed under the bleachers. 13. Opening heights will be determined by counting down using the eighth best performance then subtracting two increments. 14. Competitors excused to compete in another event, shall have a maximum of 15 minutes from the time their name is called by the judge until they must make themselves available for their next trial. 15. Concessions will be available during the meet. 16. Admission will be $ The infield is a restricted area. Only coaches with HJ Coach passes will be allowed on the infield and must be in the HJ coach s box. No coach is allowed in the HJ coach s box once the HJ competition has started. Rule 4-6-5f states coaching

3 from a restricted area is grounds for disqualification from the event. There will be a warmup area for the 300 meter hurdles next to the Football storage shed which is located by the Shot and Discus area. 18. Sectional T-Shirts will be sold during the meet. 19. Absolutely no dogs allowed. Please remind your athletes to tell their parents! 20. Upon completion of the meet the lights will remain on for 30 minutes. All gates will be locked 30 minutes after the completion of the last event. PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR ATHLETIC DIRECTOR OR THE WIAA WEBSITE FOR ALL OTHER TOURNAMENT INFORMATION.
