1 TRACK: 400 Meter All-weather Track. Eight 42" lanes around the track. SPIKES: 1/4" Pyramid spikes ONLY. STARTING BLOCKS: Jamestown will furnish all blocks. BATONS: Bring your own batons for relay events. SHOT PUT, DISCUS, JAVELIN: All throws will take place at the UJ soccer field. All throwers will receive 3 attempts to qualify; 8 for the Finals. They will get 3 additional attempts in the Finals. The Shot Put and Discus rings are concrete. The Javelin runway is grass. TRIPLE & LONG JUMPS: Horizontal jumps will take place NE of the parking lot. All jumpers will receive 3 attempts to qualify; 8 for the Finals. Finalists will receive 3 additional attempts. POLE VAULT: Pole Vault will take place NE of the parking lot. Opening height will be set by coaches and/or the event judge. HIGH JUMP: Same surface as the track. Opening height will be set by coaches and/or the event judge. ENTRIES: FAT will be provided by Apple Raceberry Jam. Information regarding registration will be sent out closer to the meet. AWARDS: Individual Events - First 8 places will receive ribbons. Relays- First 3 places will receive ribbons; only 1 st place varsity team will receive ribbons for the hurdle relay. SCORING: Team score totals will be tabulated in Class A and B. Point basis for all events: Class A and B will be combined in all events. JUNIOR VARSITY DIVISION: We again plan to have a JV Division for both Boys and Girls. The Varsity will run first, followed by the JV in all running events except the Distances. For instance, in the 3200 Meter Run, 9 th through 16th place would actually place 1st through 8th in the JV Division. Field Event people will have to declare whether they are competing Varsity or JV. Ribbons will be awarded to all place-winners in all events as well. There is a JV Division for both Boys and Girls. We will award 8 places in each individual event and award 3 places in each relay for Varsity and JV Divisions. JV ribbons will be designated as being JV. 1

2 ENTRY FEE: Entry Fee of $10 per athlete up to a maximum of $75 per team. ($150 if you enter both Boys and Girls teams). MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: Buffalo City Running Club. GENERAL INFORMATION: Remind your athletes to set up camps in the South part of the stadium or in either the East or West side bleachers. NO CAMPS ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD! No weight implements allowed on the football field as well. When not competing or getting ready for an event, athletes should remove themselves from the track and infield.
