2 Dear Supporter, Our 2 nd Annual Dogfest and Walk-a-thon is scheduled for Saturday May 31, 2014 at the Collingwood Curling Club and Central Park! We are VERY excited to bring this event back for a second year. Last yearʼs inaugural event had over 400 attendees and raised over $7,500 for the GTHS Animal Shelter! Now the event is returning bigger and better! At this yearʼs Dogfest and Walk-a-thon, you can look forward to: A Walk-a-thon along the Georgian Trail in support of our Shelter animals. Gather your friends, family and coworkers, sign-up and compete to be one of our top participants or teams! A variety of vendor booths showcasing animal products and services from around the region Delicious food to keep us fuelled for a great day of activities A pet photo booth to capture a special moment with your furry friend A demo ring showcasing some of the regionʼs top canine talents Raffles, giveaways, goodie bags, and MORE!!! The Georgian Triangle Humane Society currently serves Creemore, Stayner, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Town of the Blue Mountains, and Meaford, as well as the surrounding areas. At any one time, our animal shelter cares for up to 100 cats and 15 dogs. Since we do not receive government funding or funding from the OSPCA, we rely on the generous support of businesses and community members. Our mission is not only to provide animals with the care and attention they need, but also to find them loving, forever homes. Last year, with the communityʼs support, we were able to care for and find loving, forever homes for over 500 animals. Your support of the 2 nd Annual Dogfest and Walk-a-thon is important, as the local animal population continues to need our help. 3 Event Schedule The GTHS Dogfest and Walk-a-thon looks forward to welcoming dogs from around the Georgian Triangle Area! 8:30-9:30am Exhibitor Set-up 10:00am Dogfest Opens; Walk-a-thon Registration Opens 10:00am-10:45am Walk-a-thon Registration 11:00am Walk-a-thon Shotgun Start 4:00pm Dogfest ends 4:00-5:00pm Exhibitor Tear Down ***Demo Area Program will be scheduled as events are confirmed.

4 Sponsorship Opportunities Title Sponsor: $3,000 Title Sponsors will receive: Name and logo on all print materials, including sponsorship package and event map Name and sponsorship mentioned in any advertising campaigns and PR campaigns Name and logo included in Newspaper Thank You following the event Prominent event signage placed at the Dogfest Entrance and Walk-a-thon Entrance (signage can be provided by GTHS, or sponsor may provide their own. If providing their own, this must be approved by GTHS) Free Vendor Booth space Opportunity to address event attendees live on event day GTHS is happy to discuss further recognition items with title sponsors. Gold sponsors: $1,500 The sponsor will receive: Free Vendor Booth space Ask The Expert Sponsor: $500 The Ask The Expert area will be manned by an animal professional (vet, dog chiropractor etc) and will provide pet owners with an opportunity to discuss their petʼs health and well being. The Ask The Expert Sponsor is available to an organization willing to sponsor our animal professional area for the day. The sponsor will receive: Name mention during the event by host emcee Prominent event signage placed in the Ask The Expert Area (GTHS will provide or the sponsor can provide their own, pending GTHS approval for sizing)

5 Sponsorship Opportunities - continued Demo Area Sponsor: $500 The Demo Area at Dogfest will host demos on pet training and agility. Pet owners will also have the opportunity to take a spin on the agility course with their dogs! The Demo Area Sponsor is available to an organization willing to sponsor our Demo Area for the day. This sponsor will receive: Name mention during the event by host emcee Prominent event signage placed at the Demo Area (GTHS will provide or the sponsor can provide their own, pending GTHS approval for sizing) Event Sponsors: $250 Sponsors will receive: Event signage placed in a prominent area designated area for event sponsors Name on Facebook Event Page Walk-a-thon Sponsors: $125 Walk-a-thon Sponsorships will receive: Name on GTHS Website event page Signage placed along the 5K Walk-a-thon route. Individuals or Companies can be a Walk-a-thon Sponsor. For companies, the company logo will be included on the signage. For individuals, two sign options of signs to choose from: 1) Supply name of your pet, 8x10 picture and a brief comment 2) Sponsor an animal in our care waiting to be adopted Vendor Booth: $150 A great opportunity to promote and sell your companyʼs products or services For more details on becoming a Dogfest Vendor, please see Vendor Booth Information

6 Vendor Booth Information The GTHS Dogfest and Walk-a-thon is happy to provide exhibitor opportunities for local businesses and petrelated organizations! Exhibitor Information: One 8 foot table and two chairs are included in the registration fee. The event will be indoors and outdoors. Vendor booths will be set-up inside the curling club indoors. If you require power, it can be provided for a $25 fee. Exhibitors are responsible for bringing their own company signage for their booth area. Each exhibitor has the opportunity to submit promotional material and/or samples for the event goodie bags. The items submitted must be approved by GTHS. If you choose to submit something, please indicate this on your registration form. 250 pieces will be required and they must be delivered to the shelter 1 week prior to the event Recommended items: dog treat samples, coupon or discount card for company products or services, promotional items such as pens, dog toys etc. Set-up: Exhibitor set-up will take place between 8:30-9:30am. All vehicles must be parked, as directed by GTHS Event volunteers, by 9:30am in the designated parking area. Exhibitors must be ready for event attendees by 10am. Exhibitors may not tear down until after 4pm. Fees and Requirements: Registration fee is $150 per booth. Power supply is an additional $25. Booths are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. A booth is not considered to be booked until GTHS has received a completed vendor registration form and payment in full. Each exhibitor may supply door prizes for the event if they wish. Please ensure that your business card or company material is attached to/included with the prize so we can ensure that you receive recognition. Recognition: Vendors will be listed on the GTHS website and may be mentioned in advertising or PR campaigns Vendors will be listed in a Thank You ad placed in the local newspaper following the event Vendors will be listed on the vendor map provided at the event entrance
