4 Vendors and Sponsors Needed MuraBella Halloween Fair Sunday, October 28th 1:00-4:00 pm Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Applications are not considered complete until the application and payment in full is made at the Amenity Center. A limited number of inside spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. No applications will be completed over the phone or . There will only be ONE representative per company allowed. *For instance, there will be only one Lula Roe, Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, etc. We may have multiple clothing, make-up or jewelry, but only one from each company. **If you chose to partner with another representative, you may do so, but only one application per company will be accepted.** There is NO driving on the grass. You must supply all of your own tables, chairs, handcarts, wagons, electrical cords and etc.

It's smooth sailing for Drac's Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans. 12 MuraBella Halloween Fair Sunday, October 28th 1:00-4:00 pm Join us for a day of outdoor fun at the Amenity Center. In addition to our annual vendor fair (the holidays are right around the corner), we have a lot of fun to pack into 3 hours! Food Trucks: Enjoy a selection of food trucks at your service. Purchase a meal and enjoy the day! The scheduled food trucks are: Wurstbusters Dagwood's Tikiz DJ and Prizes Enjoy the sounds of a professional DJ to keep the party going. He will play a variety of games and prizes will be awarded. Fun Games and Attractions This year s Halloween Fair will feature the Orbitron, 50 Dual Lane Mega Obstacle, Miniature Golf, Nerf Wars, Spooky Petting Zoo, Raffle, Face Painting and more!

13 Special Halloween Petting Zoo Wild Wonders Animal Show will be on hand with their own version of a petting zoo. You never know what is going to creep or crawl your way with Wild Wonders. Pet them if you dare. We will also have a special Mystery Box contest to enter the drawing for our Raffle Prize Join our Costume Parade It is so much fun to dress up for Halloween! One of the best parts is getting to show off your awesome costume! Join the parade at the Halloween Fair and win a medal. Registration for the parade will begin at 2:00 pm with the parade beginning at 2:30 pm. There will be 7 different categories during our Costume Parade: Best Store Bought Best Homemade Prettiest Scariest Most Creative Best Group Too Cute (ages 4 and under) Special Raffle Prize We will raffle off a special Candy Basket from The Poppin Box valued at over $50. 14 STORYTIME WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3RD, 17TH & 31ST AT 9AM Join Ms. Karen from the St Johns County Library each month for stories, games, crafts and fun. Ingredients Caramel & Chocolate Apples *Vegetable oil cooking spray *6 small apples, washed and dried, stems removed *2 (9.5-ounce) bags soft caramel candies, unwrapped *1/4 cup pulp-free orange juice *1 (4-ounce) bar 53 percent cocoa dark chocolate, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces *Assorted small candies, chopped nuts and sprinkles Directions *Special equipment: 6 craft or thick wooden sticks 1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray it with vegetable oil cooking spray. 2. Insert the craft sticks halfway into the stem ends of the apples. 3. In a medium, heavy saucepan, over low heat, combine the caramel candies and orange juice. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the candies have melted and the mixture is smooth, about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool for 2 minutes. 4. Dip the apples in the caramel until coated and put them on the parchment paper until firm, about 2 hours. 5. Put the chocolate in a medium bowl and set it over a pan of barely simmering water. Stir until the chocolate is smooth and melted. 6. Using a fork, drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel. Put the apples back on the parchment paper for 10 minutes. 7. Sprinkle with small candies, chopped nuts or sprinkles and allow the chocolate to harden, at room temperature, for about 3 to 4 hours. Cook's Note: *Some apples have a wax coating that will prevent the caramel from sticking. To remove the wax coating, dip the apples for 4 seconds in 6 cups of boiling water mixed with 1/4 teaspoon white vinegar. Dry thor-

16 Important reminders for residents of MuraBella Please remember that your access card is REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES when you are using any of the amenities! Whether you are coming to the gym, pool, to attend a class or bring your child to an event as well. Don t get caught on the wrong side of the gate and miss all the fun! For more information on your access cards, please contact the Amenity Center Office at Access Cards are not transferable. Residents must accompany their guests at all times Periods of inactivity will disable access cards. Please make sure that your cards are currently activated. Please remember: There is NO Night Swimming at MuraBella Our pools are permitted through the state of Florida. It is important to remember that as far as the state of Florida is concerned, dusk is not the same as sunset. Per rule Rule # 64E of the Florida Department of Health, our pools may operate from 30 minutes after Sunrise until 30 minutes before Sunset. All residents must be clear of the pool and pool deck by that time. We must comply with these rules in order to maintain our permits. The Department of Health can, and has imposed fines, suspended, or even terminated pool permits. This would mean a complete shut down of the pool and pool decks until the matter can be resolved.

17 Proper swim apparel is necessary to ensure a pleasant day at the pool for ALL! When deciding what swimsuit to wear to our MuraBella pool, please consider that this is a family, community pool. Should the swimsuit you choose NOT cover all the appropriate parts you may be asked to leave the facility. So, please leave that new, adorable, slightly risqué suit for the beach. Thank you for understanding and cooperation! CHOOSE AN EXCITING CAREER AS A SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD The School Crossing Guard is responsible for the safety of school age children while crossing the street in designated cross-walks. This position educates pedestrians on safe crossing of streets and traffic laws. 23 What is the difference between the Community District Development (C.D.D) and a Home Owners Association (H.0.A)? The CDD is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all common property to include the Clubhouse and all related assets, lakes, and common areas throughout the Murabella community. Your managing entity is Governmental Management Services (GMS), LLC. Your C.D.D. District Manager is: Dave denagy and he can be reached at ext Street Lights throughout the community are not included in the assets of the C.D.D. Those that are not working properly may be reported on the Florida Power and Light Company at by any resident. The number on the street light as well as the street name are required.
