2 2012 CVRSL ALL-STAR FINALS Hosted by the DINUBA AQUA EMPS Date: Saturday July 21st, Meet begins at 9:00 AM. Facility: Dinuba High School Pool 340 E. Kern Dinuba Schedule of Events: Warm-ups begin at 6:45 am Coaches Meeting at 7:45 am Officials/Stroke and Turn Judges meeting at 8:00am First Call at 8:30 am National Anthem at 8:45 am Meet begins at 9:00 am Warm-ups and cool down: Follow the team warm-up schedule. All warm-ups and cool downs must be supervised by a coach. During the meet supervised warm-up and cool down will take place in the East side of the pool. Abuse of these privileges by a team will result in that team losing their privileges. Rules: CVRSL and USS rules will govern the meet. The Dinuba High School campus is designated a tobacco free area. Also NO glass, gum, or pets are allowed on campus. Whistle Starts: We will utilize the whistle starts for all events. There will be no call for "swimmers place your feet" for the back stroke events. The third whistle will be the signal for the swimmers to return to the wall and place their feet and be prepared for the command "take your mark". Entries: All events are pre-seeded from the three Time Trial results with heats running from slowest first to fastest last. A Coaches meeting will be held at 7:45 am. This will also be a scratch meeting. Any swimmer missing an individual event and is not excused by the Meet Referee will be scratched from their next individual event. Each team is required to get their own swimmers to the staging area when their event is being called. Staging: ALL EVENTS WILL BE STAGED. Please listen for the first and second calls in order to get swimmers to the staging area on time. Only swimmers that are being staged will be allowed on the deck. Parents and coaches will not be allowed on the deck, with the exception of the relay events for 10 and under, 8 and under, and 6 and under. COACHES WILL BE RESPONSIBLE that their swimmers get on deck in the proper lane and in the proper order but must stand back before the start of the race and must not coach once on deck. Coaches abusing this rule will have their deck privileges revoked. Submitting Grievances: The Head Coach of the team is the only member that may submit a grievance and must submit a grievance to the Meet Referee, in writing, within 30 minutes. The 30 minutes will be based on the time the Administrative Referee has written on the DQ slip. Awards: Medals are awarded to swimmers who place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their event. Ribbons will be awarded to 4th through 24th place in individual events and 4th through 16th in relays. Pleas be prepared to pay for your awards at Time Trials. Awards will not be released without payment. Your check should be made payable to CVRSL. COST: MEDALS = $3.40 RIBBONS $0.38 Timing & Recording: 3 Timers & 1 Recorder per lane. Please report to the Head Timer by 8:30 am. Please set-up any shift changes if needed. Hospitality will be provided. Stroke & Turn: Each team needs to provide TWO stroke and turn judges. They must report to the Officials meeting at 8:00am. T-Shirts & Programs: 2012 CVRSL All-Star Finals T-Shirts will be sold on site. The T-shirt vendor will be on site to produce t-shirts. Programs will need to be pre-ordered by 7pm on Wednesday July 18th

3 Program Advertising If members of your team would like to place an ad in the program, a copy ready ad must be received by Tuesday July 17th at 5pm. They can use this ad to advertise a business or submit pictures of their swimmers with words of encouragement. the copy ready ad to jlamb@gillettecitrus.com. If you have any questions contact Jim Lamb at Spectator Area: The bleachers on the deck are for spectators only, NO CAMPING will be permitted. No ice chests, chair, or umbrellas allowed. Lunch: There will be a 30 minute lunch break after event 38. The pool will remain open for supervised warm-ups during this time. Coaches: Each team will be given 4 deck passes and 4 lunch tickets. Deck passes allow the coaches to view the swimmers from the designated coaching area on deck and meet their swimmers in the staging area. Coaches will not be allowed on deck with their swimmers with the exception of for the relay events for the 10 & unders, 8 & under, and 6 & under. Coaches will be permitted to insure that their swimmers get to the correct lane and in the proper order but must stand back before the start of the race and must not coach once on deck. Abuse of this privilege can result in your swimmers being disqualified. Team Camp Area: Camp area will be located East of the swimming complex on the softball outfields. Each team will have a designated area and must provide their own shade. See attached map for approximate team locations. As a courtesy to other teams in the camp area we ask that no generators be used and no loud music be played. If swimmers and parents cannot hear the audio system they will be at risk of missing the calls for their events. Parking: There will be various parking locations around the school site. Please see attached map for parking locations.

5 GENERAL INFORMATION RV Parking Only in the North Parking lot (Football Stadium) and the North East parking (Corner of Magnolia and 1 st street) Tent City Teams will have access on Friday July 20 at 5:00pm and 6:00am on Saturday July Dinuba Aqua Emps and Dinuba High School will not be responsible for damaged or stolen property left unattended Friday evening. Concessions We will be serving a pancake breakfast and will have a wide variety of items available at our world famous concession stand. Vendors SWIM SUITS WEST will be selling suits, goggles and various other swim items. GIC GRAPHIC WEAR will be selling All Star Finals T-Shirts. PROGRAMS Pre-orders (see attached order form) must be turned in by 7pm on Wednesday July 18 th. A VERY limited number of programs will be available the day of FINALS. PROGRAM ADVERTISING Copy ready ads (see attached order form) must be receive by 5pm on Tuesday July 17 th.

College Avenue Turn LEFT School will be ½ mile on the RIGHT. PARKING - Turn RIGHT on Sierra Ave and parking will be on the left. NO RV Parking - Parking lot on S. College Ave by Gym/Football Field. NO RV Parking - Stay on S. College (Turns into J Street) to E. Kern Street Turn RIGHT / Past the first stop sign there is a parking lot on the right (Football Stadium parking) -Stay on S. College (Turns into J Street) to E. Kern Street Turn RIGHT Go past the Football Stadium parking and at the stop sign (Magnolia and 1 st street) parking lot will be on right. FROM the NORTH: Take Hwy 99 South to the Mountain View exit Turn LEFT (East) Take Mt. View (El Monte Way) to N. J Street Turn RIGHT (2 nd right after Alta Ave) School will be ½ mile on the LEFT. PARKING - Turn LEFT on E Kern Street. Past the first stop sign there is a parking lot on the right (Football Stadium parking) - Turn LEFT on E Kern Street. Go past the Football Stadium parking and at the stop sign (Magnolia and 1 st street) parking lot will be on right - Parking lot on S. College Ave by Gym/Football Field.
