Two St John Ambulance qualifications are approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for the provision of first aid in the workplace: First aid at work: A comprehensive three-day course Emergency first aid at work: A one-day course. Every workplace is different so it s vital to ensure that the training your first aiders receive is appropriate to your needs. Call Assessing your first aid needs It s vital that you carry out a comprehensive first aid needs assessment for your workplace at least once a year, and after anything has changed with your workplace, work practices or personnel.
