13 Off-Season Summer Expectations All Off-Season Activities are Optional While attendance is taken during the summer, it is generally NOT used during Player Evaluations Turn in the player Summer Player Calendar to coaching staff by May 25, 2017 Please do not confuse off-season training with tryouts. Off-season is an opportunity for all prospective players to be a part of the program. Participation in off-season activities does not guarantee a uniform in the Fall, it guarantees only that if a player works hard during the offseason and participate, they will improve.
14 Final Thoughts from the coaching staff Team Selections is tough at all levels here Be as prepared as you can (Build your Resume) Enjoy the process (Build your Character) Please keep in mind the four player scenarios Player A (Participates in everything makes the cut) Player B (Minimal or no participation makes the cut) Player C (Participates in everything doesn t make it) Player D (Minimal or no participation doesn t make it) Club Volleyball is not considered an IRVB activity
