All access and unit information is sent to you via 2 days prior to your arrival. Since our buildings are unstaffed, it is critical that you receive and read all communication from us in order to access your unit. Because our buildings do not have a front desk we use codes, not keys, to give our guests access to buildings and units. If you don t receive the from us with access information 2 days prior to arrival, please contact us immediately. 3 Information for your Booking on Coming from Logan Airport We recommend taking a cab from the Airport to get to the unit. The entire trip is about 15 minutes and will cost around $30 with all tolls and airport fees included. You can also pick up the shuttle from the airport at Terminal E, getting off at the MBTA Airport Station. From here you will board the Blue Line toward Bowdoin, getting off at the State Street stop. From State Street, board the Orange Line toward Forest Hills, getting off at the Massachusetts Ave. stop. After getting of the train at Massachusetts Ave, walk South for about 5 mins, then turn right on Tremont Street. The building will be on your left across from the gas station. Coming from South Station If you arrived by train at South Station, we recommend taking a cab. The entire trip by car is about 10 minutes. You can also connect to the Orange Line train by walking to Downtown Crossing and riding it to the Massachusetts Ave. stop. After getting of the train at Massachusetts Ave, walk South for about 5 mins, then turn right on Tremont Street. The building will be on your left across from the Ell-Bern gas station.

4 Your unit is equipped with a digital antenna. To switch between usual TV channels, use the TV remote. If TV is not displaying, press Input on the TV remote and scroll to find the correct input. Your unit is also equipped with Roku which allows to you to watch Netflix, Amazon, Hulu etc. Press Input on the TV remote and scroll to find Roku (likely HDMI1). Use the Roku remote to select an app i.e. Netflix and follow the instructions to login using your own account. Or scroll down to the movie and TV stores and streaming channels. Please be sure to log out of any apps before checking out. Most of our TV s are equipped with HDMI ports, allowing you to connect a computer for viewing your media on a larger screen. 5 Receiving Mail/Packages All guests are welcome to ship packages to the building. That being said, we don t assign mail boxes and won t be held responsible for lost or damaged packages. We recommend that all guests who would like to receive mail rent a PO Box at one of the nearby post offices. The closest one to your building is the US Post Office located at 59 W. Dedham St. Trash/Recycling If your trash and/or recycling is full prior to checkout there are three options: 1) There are trash cans and recycling bins located in a gated alley to the right upon exiting the building. The code to open the gate is ) Kindly put your sealed bag of trash in one of our trashcans. We ll take care of any normal trash in the unit upon check-out. 3) There is also curbside trash and recycling pick-up every Tuesday and Friday morning. Sealed bags of trash and separate sorted recycling may be brought to the street any time after 5pm on the night prior to collection, or by no later than 8 am on the pick-up date. All recycling should be placed in one of the large blue recycling

6 bins. Heating and Cooling Each unit in the building has two thermostats. One controls the baseboard heat and the other controls the cooling system (each thermostat is labeled). During the warmer summer months we also supply in-window AC units in some units to supplement the central cooling system. Locking Your Door Whenever you are leaving the unit, test the handle to make sure that it locks behind you. If it doesn t, make sure that the small knob on the inside of the lock is turned so the door locks behind you (some units may have this knob removed this is OK). Any deadbolts will function separately from the primary lock. Laundry PLEASE DO NOT USE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 11AM - 4PM Laundry facilities are located on the lowest level of the building. When you enter the front door of the building you will see a door straight ahead. Go down the stairs and you will see washers and dryers. Laundry is free of charge, but we do not provide laundry detergent or dryer sheets. Storing Your Bags Before/After Check-In If you arrive before your scheduled check-in at 4pm, you are more than welcome to leave your bags in the basement of the building near the laundry machines. That being said, feel free to call us on the day of your

7 arrival to see if an early check-in is possible. Parking for guests of this building is located behind our sister properties at 44 Concord Square (5 mins walking) and 16 E. Springfield St. (10 mins walking). All parking spaces must be purchased separately and are subject to availability. You can get most places in Boston by using the MBTA (the T ). There are bus stops and subway stops within walking distance. Subway Stops Mass. Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) (Yawkey Building #9, 55 Fruit Street Boston, MA 02114) - 15 minutes by cab/30 minutes by train. If traveling by train, board the Orange Line at the Massachusetts Ave stop toward Oak Grove, getting off at Downtown Crossing. At downtown crossing, switch to the Red Line and ride it toward Alewife, getting off at MGH station. It s about a 5 minute walk from there heading North on Charles St. Tufts Medical Center (800 Washington St. Boston, MA 02111) - 10 minutes by train. If traveling by train, board the Orange Line at the Massachusetts Ave stop toward Oak Grove, getting off at the Tufts Medical Center stop. Dana Farber Cancer Institute (450 Brookline Ave. Boston, MA 02215) - 25 mins by train/<15 mins by cab. If traveling by train, walk 10 minutes North up Massachusetts Ave. and board the Green Line at Symphony toward Heath Street, getting off at the Brigham Circle stop. From there, the walk is about 7 minutes to Brookline Ave. Boston Children s Hospital (300 Longwood Ave. Boston, MA 02215) - 25 mins by train/<15 mins by cab. If traveling by train, walk 10 minutes North up Massachusetts Ave. and board the Green Line at Symphony toward Heath Street, getting off at the Longwood stop. 12 Street, getting off at the Longwood stop. From there, the walk is about 10 minutes up Longwood Ave, turning right on Brookline Ave The city of Boston started The Hubway program; which allows you to rent bikes at various locations in the City and return them in any other location. For example, you can rent a bike in Back Bay, ride it to the North End, and either leave it at another Hubway, or ride it back to the Back Bay. Great program! Nearest location: On Columbus Ave. a few feet in from Mass. Ave Intersection Website: RUN The Charles River is one of the easiest and most picturesque places to run. It s 1.1 miles straight up Massachusetts Avenue from the building. Go out the door, and turn right on Tremont, then go left once you hit Mass Ave. Walk north up Mass Ave until you hit the Charles river. There are various loops around the river for a range of distances. You can do a 3 mile loop or as long as 17 mile loop. Here is a map of the bridges and the mileages:
