The entry deadline for e 2013 ASA 10-A and12-a Eaern National Fa-Pitch Tournament is July, at 9:00 pm Eaern Time! The Findlay Girls Fapitch Softball Club and Hancock County Recreation Department will ho e Championship games at The Maraon Diamonds, 3430 N. Main St. Findlay, OH. We are committed to providing a quality tournament and excellent facilities. Our complex contains warm-up areas, rerooms, concession and, parking areas, picnic areas, and a playground. The complex is wiin a 10-minute drive of area hotels, shopping malls and reaurants. 4 Regiration Information Regiration will begin at 9:00 a.m. at e Findlay Inn & Conference Center prior to e Manager's Luncheon. Regiration will continue at e Opening Ceremonies at The Cube in Findlay. Regiration will also take place before opening games at each complex. Please check e tournament itinerary for dates and times.? 5 Directions The Maraon Diamonds/The Cube 3430 N. Main St. Findlay, Oh This is e main facility for e tournament. It is located off of exit 161 on I-75. Go ea off e exit and you will see e facility on e right. You may use e service road beside Speedway or travel ea to Main Street. Turn right and e Maraon Diamonds are located behind e Cube s Ice Arena. (more detailed directions can be found on e next page) Lady Trojan Softball Field At Findlay High School 1200 Broad Ave. Findlay, Oh This is e home of e Findlay Lady Trojans and it is located off exit 159 on I-75. Go ea off e exit to Broad Avenue. Turn right and you will be at e nor end of e property. Continue on Broad Avenue to e sou end of e campus to Washington Intermediate School. You can turn right into e complex ere or in e alley ju passed e school. There is a sign located on e reet at e end of e alley. The field is located behind e Washington Intermediate School! 10 Rules and Regulations A.The 2013 ASA Official Guide and Rule Book will govern all players' rules and regulations B.Dress Code: 1.Uniforms a. Players on a team shall properly wear uniforms at are alike in color, trim and yle. b. Coaches mu be neatly attired, dressed alike or in team uniform, and in accordance wi e color code of e team. Awards A. Team trophies TBA depends on number of teams, according to The ASA Code Tournament Draw A.Games will be scheduled in a pool play format to begin e tournament. Results of e pool play will determine placement of each team in a double-elimination championship bracket. (Result: each team will be scheduled to play a minimum of four games) General Information A.Format Two (2) pool games followed by double elimination tournament. B.Line-up-cards Tournament officials will provide e line-up cards for each team. An official card mu be submitted to e scorekeeper at lea 15-minutes prior to e game time. C.Game Times Follow e times lied on e official tournament bracket. Game time is forfeit time. Teams should be prepared to play immediately after e proceeding game is completed. D.Infield Practice No infield practice will be permitted. Warm-up is allowed in designated areas only. Teams may warm up on e outfield grass if time permits. 11 F. Inclement Weaer In e event of inclement weaer, e game mu be resumed at e exact point where it was suspended. It is e manager's responsibility to check e website, tournamentasa.com, for more information, concerning rain delay schedule. G. Home Team a coin-toss prior to e art of each game shall determine e home team. H. Dugouts The team at e top of e bracket will use e fir-base dugout. The team at e bottom of e bracket will use e ird-base dugout. I. Official Game Ball Findlay City Parks and Recreation Department have provided e official ball for e tournament. The ASA Executive Director mu approve all softballs. J. Conduct Managers and coaches are asked to have completed control of eir players bo on and off e field. The Tournament Committee will deal wi any report of damage by hotel managers. K. Souvenirs Souvenirs will be available at e Maraon Diamonds roughout e tournament. T-Shirts, Hats, Shorts, Sweatshirts and oer memorabilia will be available. L. Food, Pets, and Alcohol Only one team cooler may be brought into e sports complexes. Pets and alcoholic beverages are not allowed in e sports complexes. Inclement Weaer Policy Games poponed in e event of rain will be made up as determined by e Tournament Director. Tickets purchased for games at are rained out will be honored for e designated make-up games ONLY. At e end of at designated time, ONLY THE APPROPRIATE DAILY PASSES will be honored. All game announcements due to schedule changes will be announced ONLY on tournamentasa.com. 12 GATE ADMISSION POLICY Ticket prices at e complex will be charged as poed. Tournament pass prices are as follows: Tournament passes are good for all sessions. $30.00 Adults $20.00 Children Day ticket prices (Thursday ru Sunday) are as follows: $10.00 Adults $6.00 Children 7-12 Children under 6 years of age are admitted free wi a paying adult. Team members wi player passes will not be charged an admission fee when entering e complex. All players and coaches MUST have passes in order to enter e complex. If ey do not have eir passes wi em ey will be asked to pay. The following individuals are classified as team members: All players lied on Official ASA Roers (mu present tournament passes) 3 Coaches/Managers (mu present tournament passes) Any person leaving (even to e parking lot) mu have a ticket, ticket ub, or tournament pass to re-enter. FREE ENTRIES All ASA Officials whose cards ate for e year 2013 is entitled to all privileges of e ASA as prescribed by e ASA code, including admission to all tournaments and/or games of softball conducted by or under e sanction of e ASA will be admitted free.
